No. Wouldn't pay for a nice hotel, more like. When city seeing, I normally go budget anyway, although prefer Premier Inn to TravelLodge if possible. Stuff yourself with breakfast, and you don't need to eat again until the evening. And you're really only using the room to sleep in, so why pay more?
