  1. Past hour
  2. And Ba was here first wasn’t he? Ba got moved because of Cisse’s mental run of form in his first (part) season here? Or have I remembered it incorrectly?
  3. I remember Ba being put on the wing as well. Not Cisse. Ba was the better player.
  4. Today
  5. Wasn't Ba here first and class. Then Cisse happened and wasn't. I.e the opposite of what you said
  6. Man U is the place where young talent goes to die.
  7. Aye I'd say Arsenal and then us as his best options, assuming Liverpool are looking for more of a name if Nunez goes. Maybe Villa if they decide to cash in on Watkins. Man United and Chelsea are basket cases. Man United might finish 17th this season, and they are very unlikely to turn that into top 5 next season.
  8. All a conspiracy by Big Porcelain? Makes you think…
  9. Never mind this middle-aged, Middle Earth chit chat, Gifli, what are you playing? ( Pork Sword is not a valid answer!)
  10. When has that ever mattered? 🙂
  11. Whereas I get up about 4-5 times a night and will die peeing. 🙁
  12. Im not entirely sure what that has to do with what I said?
  13. He did and seemed to have no flexibility on the situation. Cissé was unreal. One of the best, most natural strikers we have ever had. Then that happened
  14. Yesterday
  15. Iirc Alan Pardew happened. Moved Cisse to the wing the following season didnt he?
  16. Aye Papiss Cissé was the most magnificent of strikers ever, then Demba Ba happened and he wasn’t.
  17. I said in certian situations, not as his main role. We've not had anyone to call off the bench this season when we've chased games, and Isak has often looked flat on his arse after the 70th minute mark because of that. Add Europe and there's no way we get through the season with him alone. Top clubs in Europe typically manage with 3-4 quality forwards, surely we can acoomodate 2? We absolutely need to. If Delap goes for guaranateed first team football to Arsenal or ManU you cant begrudge him that, but I think we can still make an attractive offer and he will have reasonable game time if we're competing in 4 competitions.
  18. Man u have shown that game time alone is not particularly useful for developing players abilities or stock. A young striker should be looking at opportunities to improve and we're one of the best talent improving teams in the league over the last few seasons. Man u and chelsea can offer him money but not the other two things on recent evidence, we're a better option than either. Arsenal would probably be the number one spot for him since they really need a first choice forward and can offer him all of the above but I'd put us in second place, especially if we have CL football next season.
