Ended up down a Tik Tok rabbit hole today on good old Elmer Bernstein. What a bloke. The number of belter theme tunes he knocked up is quite staggering. Ended up listening to a few of them performed and it’s mind boggling how the orchestra is put together. Also made me a bit gutted that I’ve never seen a proper big orchestra in the flesh.
