  1. Today
  2. There’s a big incentive for clubs that aren’t hampered by PSR to get deals completed before 30 June - because they know that clubs like ours won’t be able to bid against them. Similarly, we’ll want to keep very quiet about any of our actual targets until after 1 July. Would be nice to pick up someone on the cheap (squad player / youngster) if any other clubs have PSR jitters next week, otherwise I don’t expect any movement until July. Makes this bit of the window boring for us. I’ve resorted to watching the cricket.
  3. Some people really believe religion has no role in wars. All of this middle Eastern shit is intrinsically tied with religion. The irony being they all believe in the same OT God of Jehovah, but then like a tree it all branches out and even the religions are split into sects who inevitably hate each other. Christians, Muslims, Jews, protestants, catholics, Shia, Sunni, orthodox.... You can all get fucked.
  4. The very second england are due to respond it stars pissing down
  5. Which City are doing, they can because they actually suffered material loss from deals that were rejected by the PL, we haven't.
  6. outrageous this post hasn't had the recognition it so richly deserves.
  7. He will be safe enough if he draws a picket line and stays behind it
  8. Is there any wonder? Forest fans are going absolutely nuts at this, and rightly so. Even if it’s completely innocent don’t post a photo of you wearing another club’s shirt FFS
  9. Gordon, Botman and Osula all commenting on Elanga's Instagram's post all of a sudden. Think thats RW sorted then.
  10. Leading to the dual aspect open plan living room.
  11. Hall will be like a new signing through the door.
  12. I’m still feeling sanguine about the transfers. I think we’ll add depth to the positions where we’ve been linked with players - it’s no secret we’re after a RW, a RCB, a CF and a GK. possibly a midfielder too if one of Willock or Longstaff are sold. If we’re still in this position a month from now it’ll be more concerning because Howe said he wants the business done quickly. In my mind that means before pre-season. The weird mini window has probably skewed expectations. We’re still only a week into the “normal” window. Howe has earned the chance to bed the new signings in so it’ll be disappointing from the club if the signings are left to the last minute. When the new signings do land, I also expect them to be players we’ve barely been linked with rather than those that are being peddled by their agents in the media.
  13. I think they were aimed at KD
  14. Not sure if these are aimed at me or not? If they are I'm not getting riled by this transfer window I'm getting riled by the handcuffs put on our club since the takeover which appears to be ongoing unless some cunt properly challenges it's legality?
  15. Think you're right tbh but I think the whole thing is a symptom of Howe seeing off another TD. There again, Mitchell has been here for a month working his notice so am now thinking has an agreed list of transfers ever existed for this window? Who decided we'd wait till this Monday when Villa will apparently sell the likes of Jacob Ramsey to us?? (🤷‍♂️) Howe's "speed" comments must have been aimed squarely at Mitchell. So looking at all that are we still working to a plan laid out by someone who is leaving the business next week?.. we haven't had "speed".. if Eddie had the clout we were thinking he had after the champions league qualification why didn't he tell Eales to put Mitchell on gardening leave for a month and sign a NDA? It's too early to judge obviously but looking at the current situation this is a fuckin dogs dinner and all these fuckers including Howe share a portion of the blame. Did Mitchell come in and immediately see the gig as a power struggle between him and Howe? If he did that's fuckin idiotic. If Howe has gone out of his way to object to things Mitchell has suggested then he's a prick too. Eales seems to be clocking in and taking the money for little in the way of leadership. Weve had our best season in six decades in spite of all this...it really shouldn't be as chaotic as this though...
