Aye, got one. It'll do round the house and it's a good cause.

Started 2016 in an argument with the missus. Happy new year, same as the old year!
-
Well done.

Bjork: "Happy new year, London! It's all so quiet! Its all so......." Stevie: "Hew, pet! Ah admire yi ability to hold a crowd with yi chanting, but, are ah'll the Lasses in Iceland your stamp? Yiz dee canny in Europe considering your size, yiz are probably the Everton of European national sides." Bjork: "Security!!!!"

'Trudging' (©CT) through Walker around about 17 going from party to party, one eye on the fanny, one eye on other groups of lads and potential aggro*, fuck that, I'll stick to a cosy night in. *there always someone who would get a kicking.

I remember my wife going round her friends on new years eve when my eldest was about one year old. The deal was I'd have the new years day for myself. I ended up having an Indians in the house and by accident caught the beginning of 'guns of navarone' on the TV after I'd put the bairn to bed. That was one of the best new years eve nights I'd had as well.

It's been about 15-20 years since a lot on here will have given a fuck about news eve, mate. Irony, those that want the new years eve partying and drinking not getting it, those that can have it, not wanting it. (New years day seemed to take over in popularity once you get a certain age/have kids etc).

I watched it last night, enjoyed it and so did the bairns. Watched the 3D version and the aerial battles were pretty good. -

Is that David O'Leary? -
We've all got our own tastes of music, but I love whenever a guns and roses fan or the like get a slightly less than enthusiastic response from a non-fan, the non-fan is suddenly a No direction/jls/Justin beiber fan.

It could be argued it's also yet another way of the current owner further devaluing the 'brand' of Newcastle United as any Johnny Foreigner types will associate the new NUFC crest with the new NUFC that are quite clearly a shit, middling two bob club and not with the good nufc sides we have had. (Some of these Johnny foreigner types might be rich and might not want to put money into a shit club. Anything that can remind people of what we were and could be again should be kept).

Off to watch star wars with my girls on 3D seeing I'm off, they're bored and I'm interested to see what happens with the old characters. Youngest has seen first three and is about 80% bothered about watching it, eldest hasn't seen any and is just going because, omg, she's a teenager and she's bored and has nothing to do and will be hoping to kop for some scran afterwards at somewhere like Frankie and Benny's. (I'm hoping for three points at the Emirates, and it's the hope that kills you). -
Well they won't going to put 'flood victims in the North slam Tory government' were they? 'My life and home are ruined, I just don't know how we're going to cope, and it's all because of that leftie luvvie actor! I'm not saying immigrants are bringing the weather with them but I can't remember weather this bad when Mr braithwaite had the corner shop! I'm just glad that nice Mr Cameron came and offered to help, his kind words were a real comfort, unlike Michael Sheene who must surely be in league with the Communist-Jihadi supporting Jeremy Corbyn.'

Tiote and colback in the middle v arsenal, Gini wandering around lost on the left leaving dummet exposed. Not looking forward to this game at all. -
I see the Government has drawn up new plans to tackle the Northern flooding AND reduce the North/South divide.......

"There's just something bothering me, probably just the way my brain works but they haven't released his cause of death yet. Seems quick to pass away 3 days after a cancer diagnosis. I wonder if he took his own life?" (You could well be right, RIP in any case).

To be fair, we'd just had an end to end 4-3 defeat to Man U, then played these a couple of days later in another end to end game. It was the last twenty minutes where they benefited from having their other Christmas game called off because of a tube strike, (whey aye) and our lots legs started to go. (You couldn't knock our players as two games in a few days at Old Trafford and at Arsenal would always take their toll especially against a fresher team thanks to them doing a form of 'Boro' to suit their teams needs).
-
We might 'turn up' against arsenal but the three points usually 'turn up' for arsenal as well. They and man city are inevitable defeats in recent years. Home win.

Just seen a leaked pic of the new crest, fucking shite.

Apparently his brother said the singing of his name sent shivers down his spine. Hopefully the club can do something appropriate/some gesture for his family to treasure.

I've never disliked any of our crests tbh, although I've no doubt anything that happens under this current set up will be shit, so with that in mind I'd rather they left it alone. Our first season with the current crest ended in relegation by the way. Just saying, like.
