  1. I'm petitioning for tiddlywinks to be an Olympic sport so I'll get a bit of training in now, get some sponsorship from a company to keep the dole off my back whilst I train and hopefully in a few years I'll be a competing Olympian cosying up to Vanessa in the Olympic Village after our events have finished. "So Vanessa, you say your bed isn't very comfortable? Did you not get allocated the 'Comfyfit Suite' like me?........What?.........of course you can see it. Drink up."
  2. Very interesting (IMO) and disturbing piece which doesn't shock me at all; http://www.newstatesman.com/politics/2014/02/everyones-equal-eyes-law-unless-you-are-football-fan
  3. Meanwhile Mike had to hand his dinner money over to Kevin Jones from 5F to avoid a hiding.
  4. That's fuck all, man. Freddie Shepherd came from Byker and had to fight his way into school then fight his way back home.
  5. The first we'll hear* about any takeover is when it's being announced so I'll declare 'bullshit'. *apart Stevie Acorrah of course.
  6. @Paddocklad; Reminds me of the school disco. (I preferred 'Big Fun' out of their two biggest/only? Hits).
  7. Apart from their plethora of ex-players who get all the media gigs and their OOT glory hunting fans I couldn't really give a fuck about Liverpool.
  8. We're a rudderless ship, if there's any direction at all left to whoever is running things day to day it'll be to keep spending down or even better, become an even leaner operation. The limit to our commercial operations by whomsoever is left to cope seems to be to sponsorship with papa fucking johns with a bogof offer for season ticket holders.
  9. I used to stay at my late Grandparents house in Heaton. Fond memories. Happy birthday! (Never stayed anywhere called Andrew, though).
  10. 3-1 Everton. Three gifts from Swansea almost NUFC-esque.
  11. Just flicked over from the Everton game to Celtic v St Johnston. Fucking hell. Nee wonder there's swathes of empty green seats, its horrendous to watch. They're 3-0 up and cruising to the most pointless title in Europe.
  12. Charlton top lad getting prepared. Charlton top lad on the rampage.
  13. CT, man, I agree to a point about the players missing but he looks a busted flush, man. The 'best for ten years' stuff does make me laugh a bit, though.
  14. He must be the last of that generation of Legends of the fifties? RIP
  15. Nee Chelsea or Man U, Stevie? Here's an old Arsenal view from a similar thread: I'll also add that they hit the CL gravy train at exactly the right time, cemented their place in the top 4 and their newer younger fans seem to have this idea that they've always been an elite club and never been average to shit. Wrong. Also laugh when they sneer at the likes of Man City and Chelsea who are just a different shade of cunt to themselves.
  16. I think he needs to go. He's ran his race here and it shows. He is not the main problem at the club of course, but he is a problem. I'd love to know how his teams, even in a good run, can get hammered so often and not just get beat. I'd also love to know why he thinks he's so 'unlucky' in the cups?
  17. What's this Rhubarb about, then? Watched Auf Wiedersehen Pet, never got away with The likely lads, (too young) watched The Machine Gunners as a kid. Never heard of Geordie Racer? Sorry, but the dead Actor's face slightly rings a bell and that's it. I'm not a television fanatic as I've worked shifts from 1996 and it does tend to disrupt watching any series. I'm only just getting used to BBC iplayer, man!
  18. Happy belated birthday, Andrew! (you shoulda dropped some CT-esque hints, man!)
  19. Congrats, Chez! Is wee Alex managing his bottles ok?
  20. I think it'll look like, I say I think it'll look like this;
  21. As long as I know we're now 'A rich country' where 'money is no object' for those in trouble I can sleep safe at night.
  22. We're a rich country and money will be no object, whatever is needed will be spent, (Don't tell that to the scroungers, though who are skint and victimised), there will also be a 'bespoke' grant awarded to those affected. Wow. At last the conservatives are starting to show a caring side now that their constituencies have been hit. Will the bespoke grant depend on how many spare bedrooms they have or how much savings they have? Will they have to prove they've been looking for insurance? What if anyone affected is on the Rock and Roll? (unlikely looking at the houses hit).
