Devils advocate - Hart had to be aware of a deflection off Gouffran. Not that he was getting anywhere near it anyway.

Our players haven't managed to score yet, and I think that's what we need to do to get back level.

For £16m I'd expect a striker with two fully functioning feet

Paying to go to the cinema when you could see the same film on a smaller screen for free and give the £10 to charity is so immoral. You're essentially saying that your slightly increased enjoyment and the revenues of giant corporations is more important to you than a cure for leukaemia. For shame. -
Will miss our Ho-nas

It's fine as a personal challenge/health month but this rising trend of people being sponsored for charity for dry January?!? 1. Alcohol is taxed highly- the drop in revenues could cost a child an artificial lung machine 2. It generates a low donation because the majority of people don't wanna sponsor you to be even more of an arse* 3. Do a sponsored help the aged/homeless/epileptic dogs voluntary month where you actually do something worthwhile while raising money for charity. But then, that would take something that was actually a selfless act *In no way directed at KAREN FROM HR

I have two passions in life - alliteration and liquids. OberOoze, ColoCream and particularly DyerDischarge just didn't sit right with me.

Renton trying to make himself feel better about his kleptomania here -
Hardly ridicule worthy them getting tonked away to Man City like. Hopefully the rest of their season will be though

The same policy as ever will continue - if there's value in a deal it'll probably get done. Not simply a matter of he won't spend because he wants to save money - there's profit to be made in the market with patient and shrewd spending.

You're all like a bunch of Self-denial Sandra's, bitching about your bad boy ex-boyfriend but secretly craving his dangerous ways.

He's just so inoffensive both on and off the pitch I don't see how you could really dislike him tbh. Shame for him, and he'll be a big miss for my preferred title winners.

Hard to get excited when we're now so used to going out early, and 3 games before you even get to the quarters makes it seem massively far away, but I'm fairly sure a lot of that interest in this dead cup would be soon resurrected among the fans if we made it to say the quarters and drew a beatable team. Dead/dying in the eyes of business driven owners of all but the top 6/7 table clubs, still very much alive for the fans imo (fans of clubs who put together cup runs anyway ).

One of the few words that almost rhymes with Subbuteo. Criminal that was never taken advantage of with a TV show. RIP.

Salt and vinegar crisp sandwich with plenty of butter, warmed in the microwave for 30 seconds for gooey butter crisp goodness. 9.5/10.

I prefer Martinez but I think Everton have the slightly better paper team as well. -

Seems to lose possession a lot less than he used to also.

I don't know whether it'd be better were he surrounded by better players, but the top players in his mould know when to just take 1 or 2 touches and keep the play moving quickly. He 8 times out of 10 tries to have a little dribble first, then if he thinks nothing's on will look for a pass. It can drag an extra player to come and challenge him but it also gives the opposition a little extra time to get settled/follow the runners. Love watching the sexy bastard though.

Even if it's just 10-15k, that would be a moderate amount for the level of clubs that would be interested e.g. bottom half Ligue 1 teams to be spending on someone who's never shown much of anything. Doesn't even really have the potential tag any more at 24.

Worst signing since promotion? Can't see anyone taking his wages on.

4 points from the next 3 games would be decent.
