We were talking about this at work last night. Some random (and often tongue-in-cheek) thoughts included... - Will the grand finale show be showing a live feed of the donor kidney being harvested from the clinically dead donor and into the winner. At the point of transplantation will they have cheering crowds and fireworks? - Why is the terminally ill patient only donating one kidney when they have two healthy ones? - What happens if the recipient's body rejects the donor kidney? (Other than the obvious, of course) Bit of an anti-climax really. - If there are votes to decide who gets the kidney (therefore making it a popularity contest) then imagine being the person who comes last. Not only are you gonna die but it would appear that everyone hates you aswell. - Will they have tasks like bushtucker trials? "How badly do you want this kidney? Are you willing to eat this plate of shit to prove it?" Who says nurses are twisted? On a serious note, I love a good ethical dilemma but I don't even know where to begin with this one. It's just so wrong on so many levels.
