Other Games 21/22: Talk about Actual Football

He’s also very culpable to total brain farts in big games like this. Seems to fall into the trap of thinking that he’s going to surprise the opposition by changing things around but just ends up playing into their hands. Mind, it’s amazing how many goals Liverpool score from doing simple things that nobody else seems to do properly anymore like closing down keepers, having the full backs join the attacks and just general graft -

Got to think Dyche will walk back into a job with whatever side is struggling come March next year -
If Klopp wins the quadruple, it’s hard to look past him but I’m not sure the likes of Vieira or Frank could have done what Howe has done from the position we were in. I would throw in his transfer business as being the best all season too tbh. I don’t see many others you could make the argument for really. Conte has got a ramshackle Spurs looking lethal but he had plenty to work with

Between him and Andres Escobar, is it too early to claim this is due to THE CURSE OF COLOMBIA ‘94?!!!!!

The hotels get great reviews on Rotten Tomatoes but terrible ones on TripAdvisor

Freddy Rin-ah that’s too easy. Condolences to his loved ones and the people whose heart he touched

Atletico and Man City just played out a fucking mental 0-0 there, like. Last 20 minutes was the borderline of chaos and farce -
The gobshite mackem at work(TM) reckons that, not only will they make the playoffs, they’re “nailed on” to win it. Something to look forward to in May, anyway

The Ukrainian lass I follow on Instagram because she’s a top shelf slab of trim seems to think that Johnson turning up is a good thing so take that for what it’s worth. I just hope it doesn’t interrupt her posing in lingerie tbh. That’d sum Johnson up tbh, if he can take any pleasure off us, he will, the cunt

That game in the Championship where he came on for about ten minutes and randomly did an overhead kick in the middle of the pitch is probably my fondest memory

Burnley will beat Norwich tomorrow and it’s still squeaky bum time. Everton’s fixture list is so nightmarish that this was probably their most winnable game -

Rangnick is dangerously close to finding himself tarred with the FRAUD brush. Him and his namesake at Southampton could be the founding members of the BUNDESLIGA FRAUD DIVISION -
The first player that is a flop will become their favourite player. Whatever day he signed will become a National Holiday in Sunderland.

Not if you’re Wayne Lineker

If he’d have slagged us off, he’d be Jamie Marragher

Right, here’s the drill. Everyone takes turns to throw out a couple of football adjacent names and Wykiki can tell us if he hates them and why. The first part of that won’t be in question but the second part will. Here we go, I’ll start: Andy Hinchcliffe Pep Guardiola Declan Rice

I really wonder what they’re up to these days. Probably get 4/1 odds that COVID killed one of them

Friends, there’s so many possibilities that we haven’t even experienced yet that could well send this lot mental. Kieran Trippier scoring a free kick in a World Cup Quarter Final, for instance. Imagine when the entire country is praising that. And that’s before PIF start piling the kind of money into the area that would a shady Tyneside cabal blush. Theres no end to potential scenarios that will properly send them west
