Thinking of more European weekends since my pals are in Krakow ATM and are loving it by all accounts. Anyone been to Budapest?

Rafa will he stay ? or will he go ?

I definitely cheered those Leeds goals pretty loudly on Saturday. We're only a point in front and they've been neck and neck with us all year, this is far from dusted. -
Sigurdsson would be a dream signing but I expect teams who are willing to spend more money will land him. Everton will probably reinvest part of whatever massive sum they get for Lukaku. As for this, I have question marks over everyone bar Darlow, Shelvey, Gayle and Ritchie tbqh. The centre halves probably deserve a run in the side but I think they'll struggle. Yedlin is rapid but he'll get caught out in the PL. Dummett always looked shite up there. Hayden is still raw but there's definite ability there so I'd want a proper spoiler alongside Shelvey. Atsu, I'd probably sign on but think he'd be a back-up at best, Gouffran has done a job this season but it's time to gan. Perez might be better if he has less time to think since his brain breaks when that happens. Murphy has done his job but think he'd not be up to much, Mitrovic isn't as good as him as a target man so he'll be out the window. The bottom of the Premier League is shit. Crap. Bollocks, in fact. A lot of what we do in terms of retaining the ball and being organised and well coached will help us stay up, even if investment isn't great IMO but you could quite clearly have a decent season, well away from all the shite if we put the money in first time of asking and let Rafa attract the kinds of lads we wouldn't normally get in this position. Also, if Graham Carr can retire, that'd help.

You can be positive and negative about things though, it's not as clear cut as you're putting out. Here's what I'm positive about: Getting back up at the first ask Rafa Rafa getting the training ground up to snuff so we can help develop some young lads through The amount of goals in the side The initial outlay in the summer Here's what I'm negative about: Question marks over quality of current crop when we go up The clusterfuck of January possibly dragging into the summer Siem de Jong coming back and putting more strain on the NHS Think you can add that all up together and find my position pretty strongly. You've got to be looking forward, as well as enjoying the winning form we have had this season. Any kind of demotion/promotion is a period of massive transition and it's absolutely just to be concerned about how we're going to handle it, especially now we're coming into the last 8 games -

With this tbh. I was at Blackburn away and they were a team that should have been dispatched fairly comfortably and we didn't manage it. There's a huge amount of middle ground between saying everyone wants 70s Brazil and recognising that there's been times this season where we just haven't been good enough and it's fine to get frustrated at that. You start ignoring the poorer aspects of our game for too long and you end up predicting that we won't get relegated when we're staring the barrel in the face. Having said that, the team did have a lot of new faces compared to a settled Brighton and Rafa's ability to get them gelling and playing quickly will reap dividends when he has to do it all again next season, considering that 70% of these players are blatantly not good enough to withstand the abilities of some Prem teams. All along for me, it's never been about Rafa and his ability, it's been about the fact that the players, as it stands, weren't all his first choice. I reckon Gayle, Ritchie, Hayden, Gamez and Clark were up there (with Sels being a Graham Carr special). Atsu came in late but has been a canny signing and Lazarr might as well not be here. The Premier League means we'll hopefully see us being able to attract the signings he wants but if there's a similar case, I only seeing us getting more attritional, lend more heavily on organisation and set plays to break teams down because we'll have to if we want to stay up. I'm not looking forward to this all starting again when people are expecting us to Keegan the Prem once more. I think a lot of this frustration comes from the idea that Ashley will do something ridiculous if we don't finish top. It's not coincidence that the upswell of good feeling started to ripple away when that useless cunt started shoving his chip shovels into everything again. Think I lost my point halfway through since I'm on my phone but there are some valid complaints about the way we've played this season IMO. I think we've always been set up well enough but a lot of these players are one-dimensional, slow and in some cases, thick as pig shit -
Will be good to see our lot throwing the "Enjoy Burton Away!!" Crack back at them. They won't though because they're shit and they'll get beat

Speaking of Pele, that goal record needs a proper going over, mind. There's a list of all of them in his autobiography and I'm sure he includes a goal that he scored past his bairn in the garden

Making a mistake by getting promoted, in that case. If Leeds don't come up, the nearest away game will be Everton. We'll have to be a one team crusade against Waitrose -

Review is back tonight for us lads who know their comedy. Third and final season following two of the finest sitcom seasons of the decade. I can also recommend The Good Place for a fairly lightweight 20 minute comedy fix. From the creator of Parks and Rec and has an overarching story across it's 13 episodes that separates it from the usual other NBC caper.

I'm not sure we've done anything as self-destructive and dangerous as appointing a child to the head of the country. They've always got to one up everyone, haven't they?

I see the price of food is creeping up. Somewhere in Boldon, someone is having a full meltdown in LIDL because super noodles are 80p now.

Diame getting cheered when taken off might be the most cringeworthy thing I've seen our support en masse do for years. There's a definite feeling in that ground that we should be walking this league and ripping everyone to bits because we have Rafa and the cry-arsing begins as soon as things go south. People think we're so far above the rest of the league when the ability that the squad has shown throughout the season should tip them off that, outside of about 5 players and a top manager, we really aren't. -

As far as British films go, I love Tyrannosaur. Bit grim, like. As all of the best British films are.
