I thought we'd beat Villa and Burnley and that'd probably sort us. In the end, it turned out to be Hull and Villa but aye, I expected to be alright, just because of the total shite around him. I agree it hasn't been the complete disaster that many thought but it's feels like an epilogue to Pardew and the football is similarly shite, which is what is actually annoying me the most. God help us if he's here next season though. I reckon it'd be shite but without those fluky runs that Pardew would go on.

Aye, I haven't seen much Villa this season because, if they're ever on telly, I'm usually doing something more enjoyable like cracking my head off the sink but they looked like a relegated team to me. At least with the sides around them, you could see how they'd get out of it but they had absolutely nothing. Benteke is a canny striker but that midfield is horseshit. I didn't even realise Tom Cleverley was playing until he clattered someone with a shit foul and the rest of them weren't much better. Sherwood probably isn't savvy or experienced enough to turn it round quickly in the way that Pulis could have either. What a shame.

I reckon Ringo's been on the edge of a breakdown for a while tbf. Probably since he got pied off from Thomas the Tank Engine.

Reckon the Burnley and Stoke results are a mark against him. Less so Stoke maybe because they're actually set to finish top half but conceding 3 to Burnley after leading 3 times should have the warning signs flashing. See also: Pardew vs. Crystal Palace this season. As an aside, our goal difference is -11 () and I can't wait to see how low it drops after this run of games.

Cheers, everyone. It had been coming but, like you say, still no easier to deal with. Quite a big family so all the necessary arrangements can be sorted a bit easier which helps. Will be having a chippy tea tonight though so you take the victories where you can.

Sadly lost my grandad tonight but the stories of the lads and lasses at the hospital sound like the lot of them are at breaking point when it comes to their workload. I'm contrasting this to 5 years ago when another family member was in hospital and everything was incredibly smooth and efficient. I liked it but it was definitely a case of people liking the characters so much that they all gave them happy endings. I think going so far into the future with it was a bit of a mistake but I liked a lot of the little jokes and callbacks in it.
