  1. He had a good chance to be good until he got fucked. Always thought Brownlee and Blackley were OK an all. (for Hibees)
  2. Despite the bemoaning of the lack of strengthening it seems to me that the areas in which we are struggling have sod all to do with the areas everyone said we should have strengthened (CB and fullback) our defence isn't the current problem IMO (could be better, yes, but not the major issue). We can't score goals, even our lamentable crossing isn't helped by the fact we get bugger all players in the box, it's the final third we look clueless in, just totally disjointed from midfield onwards. Cabaye (who would have been nowehere near a place on the replace by strengthening list) has been a shadow of his former self, Tiote/Colo hardly played, Cisse looke like Shola at his worst. Need someone to step up and join midfield to attack, it should be Cabaye really but he's been poor, maybe that's because he hasn't had Tiote as his security blanket, who can say, but he should still be under instruction to play his game, there is just no movement in the final third. On the subject of the crossing, why when the ball is over on one flank isn't the player on the opposite side piling into the box for anything overhit, fuck worrying about getting hit "on the break", when in good areas attack with purpose and sensible numbers (the front four and support from one of the central midfielders). We actually move the ball quite well at times up until the danger area then it all grinds to a halt. Being able to play our first eleven for a few games would be a good start.
  3. Like many choices, making the wrong one just shows you up as a disrespectfull cunt.
  4. It is a total lack of respect, and anyone who doesn't wear one is a cunt, or in McLeans case an IRA supporting cunt.
  5. If it is, I like that Stevie better.
  6. Fergie-esque http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20271855
  7. That's the problem, they can't get at the assetts, see Newco, the whole thing sold for £5.5 Million I think they are "going heavy" up there because there's no Football Creditors rule, they'll do the same thing here if they get rid of that rule. Football has taken HMRC for hundreds of millions over the years.
  8. Apologies, straight cut and paste from Skunkers, my mistake Are you not there ?? you are the bestest fan in the history of the world.

  11. The thing that gets me is, IF they did stamp down on all the shit that goes on, it'd only be carnage for a game or two, at most, and the ultimate result would be much better IMO.
  12. If I was a ref I'd be telling them all before any game, swear at me and you get a yellow, if I think you could have stayed on your feet but you go down you get a yellow, wrestle at a corner you get a yellow, be down to 5 a side until the thick cheating overpaid twats wised up. O/T Would love the stump mic's in cricket broadcast, the commentators already get the feed.

  15. All good stuff, but in respect of the "wee bit short" have we even once been able to field our full first XI (or even ten of the buggers). If your going to measure him on persuading Ashley I think you'll be disappointed, if a buy fits the model it'll happen, if not it won't. Also January is a crap transfer window at th best of times.
  16. Pretty sure home teams keep all the game cash these days.
