  1. The FA are as much to blame as anyone for allowing football to be ruined for tens of thousands (if not more) of supporters of clubs throughout the country. There's no chance they'll ever do anything about it unless something catastrophic happens to Liverpool or Man Utd either.
  2. Of course it's mental. Unfortunately premier league players are on mental money, even the ones who play for us. And when we put ourselves in the position of weakness that we have done, half decent players won't come to us on the cheap. We won't pay any significant fees out while Ashley is here.
  3. Yep, I bet none of us feel quite so pance now.
  4. Aye well the few like him, Oviedo, Watmore and McGeady who were with them in the premier league I know but the rest I'd not have a clue who they were if I passed them in the street.
  5. The Favourite. Superb performances from Coleman, Weisz & Stone (as well as Nicholas Hoult) in a pretty mad film. It's third act doesn't quite match the first two but I found it really enjoyable.
  6. Yeah I totally get that, one of the risks of not wanting to know anything about the BM episodes before watching I guess. I would have watched it again as intended if it had been a more interesting story.
  7. There was tallk about him going out on loan to Gateshead or somewhere like that. That seems a complete waste of time since he's already scored goals against football league teams this season. Surely we need to see him in league 2 at least.
  8. I thought exactly the same. Weren't they talking about Abraham's being on more than £100k if he went to Wolves.
  9. I thought his answer made perfect sense. Which premier league manager has time to watch every tinpot club in the country? I've heard of Maja because he's scoring quite a few goals for our local rivals. But I've got no clue who most of the rest of their team are apart from Max Power (because of the name and the fact he keeps getting sent off) and I've got absolutely no idea what players from other clubs are doing well in that league. As he says it would be his scouting team who would bring someone like that to his attention (just the same as it would be for most players in other leagues).
  10. Well I'll never know now will I. I didn't really know anything about it before hand, I just saw Black Mirror and immediately stuck it on. It wasn't until after that I found out how it was supposed to work. My mate watched it properly and said he just got bored with the multiple endings. It sounds like a really good idea that could end up being used for really bad money making purposes in the future. But it just wasn't that good a story in the end.
  11. That's the whole point of it. Its' based around one of them.
  12. Yeah if their batsmen could cope with the moving ball better then it would have been a much closer series.
  13. It was absolutely awful on Saturday like. The only ones who didn't look completely out of their depth were Lejeune, Schaar, Ritchie and maybe Longstaff (possibly just because he wanted to play). And to add the pitiful performance none of the usual supporters were there round where I sit so I had to listen to morons behind me who didn't know what league Blackburn were in, didn't know who half of our players were and couldn't understand why Murphy would be low on confidence when he hasn't even been playing! And there were bairns who also didn't have a clue and just shouted out rubbish and made up their own songs. I know we need to encourage young supporters as much as possible but they really are irritating during the match.
  14. Hayden is dogshit. I don't have a clue what role he thinks he's doing but I'm certain he's not doing it. He also looks very disinterested now which is a shame because before Rafa wouldn't let him leave (which is purely down to our total lack of a squad) he came accross as a good kid.
  15. I see a load of them are fewming that Roy Hodgson doesn't watch them or have a clue who Maja is.
  16. I managed to watch it on a steam without the options so it just played through them all. Thought it was interesting as usual but not one of the better efforts but I'm sure I would have got more from it watching it as it was intended.
  17. Australia's batting never looked that great last year, it was just that Smith was completely out of this world and he managed to carry the rest of them. If he hadn't been playing I think we would have won even without Stokes. Without Smith and Warner the Aussie batting line up looks fucking dreadful. Fair play to the Indian bowlers though, in particular Bumrah who seems to be giving batsmen all over the world nightmares at the moment.
  18. Of course when you try to have a squad on the cheap these things are always likely to happen.
  19. Sounds like it’s a good job no one answered this.
  20. Does anywhere in the town have the match on these days?
  21. I think he means they're our reserves biggest rivals. Whitley Bay aren't up to much these days!
  22. He looks like he has pace, a good left peg and the knowledge that in order to beat a man you can just run into him. Which puts him ahead of all of our attacking players.
  23. It's got nothing to do with Rafa has it? It's the bloke who's covering Pedro while he's suspended who'll be picking the team. Not that it matters because we aren't allowed to play 1st teamers. Not that the mackems are known for letting facts get in the way mind.
  24. So I take it at least a couple of boxes must have recently been sold? Anyone noticed any sheiks in them for the last couple of games?
  25. I'd much rather have Diame playing than Perez or Kenedy who are both fucking pansies who rarely do anything other than give the ball away. Ritchie is our only attacking player who can remotely be relied to play consistently in a slightly positive manner. Unfortunately he's only average in this league. I can't get too down about losing (especially a game that we could have actually got something out of if we had took early chances) after three wins on the bounce. To do better than that is extremely difficult for even the best best teams in the league, and we are certainly nowhere near the very best. It is still disappointing to see how a club like West Ham can financially blow us out of the water and it was blatantly obvious on Saturday that spending decent money gets you much better players. All we have is the manager keeping us in this league.
