The Italian culture is something else like. The worst plane journey I ever had was when I sat next to two Italians with three of their mates in front. Cut off their arms and they are unable to communicate and every conversation they have it seems like they're having a massive barney. Nearly had my eye out a few times with the arm flapping. Thankfully it was an internal transfer and only about a 50 min flight or I may have killed them.

The Daily Mail has almost become a comedy version of itself. All of the ott headlines that people used to make up to take the piss out of it are now actually being put up for real. It really is a pathetic rag.

I think the main problem I have with Osborne is that he's constantly dodging the live press and general public and tends to send his minions as lambs to the slaughter, like that poor lass who was sent on Newsnight. Hey, he has tough decisions to make, but I really don't like the way he'll make them and then refuse to debate them with press and public and instead hide away and fuck off to private functions.

Taking the politics out of this, it's a wonderful footballing decision and got 'tits up' written all over it. Verbally and physically abusing young uns on their way up in League 1 might be acceptable but do you think PL footballers will put up with his shite? He's another one of these Sky generation 'isn't he a bit zany and funny' when actually he's anything but. If the macklems really wanted to stay up they should have put in MaClaren. Aye, he's a boring twat, but he would have got them stabilised and winning games ugly. This is their JFK moment and frankly I'm delighted. Only thing to add is seeing as our bench is no shrinking violet I predict that the derby game will see a massive barney between the two benches with proper fisticuffs.

I've been listening to the Nerdist lately, can recommend it. Basically a comedian called Chris Hardwick meets up with famous people for an hour and they talk about anything and everything. Highly recommend the Chris Jericho one as a perfect example. They don't mention wrestling once they just talk about nostalgic tele and end up texting Slash from Guns N Roses about Dinosaurs.

He's a very dislikeable little twat isn't he?
-
He reminds me of the Patrick Swayze character from Donnie Darko. Big smiley & media savvy but privately a hypocritical career climbing twat. Not a paedo though.

'So Yohan, you recently revealed you had been suffering from depression. Tell me, have you ever seen a mackem in Milan?'

First few seasons if they did come into the PL (which won't happen by the way) there would be loads of bother like. The only time I've ever had bother at a home game was when a couple of Celtic fans tried to mug me in the toilets of The Three Bulls before Pedro's testimonial. Luckily, some huge one of our lot came in and gave then a 'clip round the ear' as I;'m soft as shite. -
I'm no Carol Vorderman, but wouldn't a cut in fuel tax give a massive boost to the economy? All goods and services have to be shipped about in transit and the high cost of doing this must be being past on to consumers through hikes in food price etc. Surely the key to boosting a economy is making sure people have disposable income to part with? From a personal point of view, I feel like my car is the one thing bleeding my dry at the minute to the point of looking at the logistics of getting rid.

How about San Marino can't be offside? That would canny entertaining.

Please someone go back in time and give this ridiculously naive 25 year old a good shoeing.

Bill Swift that used to run buses for away games

I'm sure there was a thread on here last week saying he had died. -
Fuck defenders. England should just play 2 at the back tomorrow and then load the midfield and forward line. Pummel them for the first 20 minutes and stick 4 or 5 past them then sit back. But no, I expect Roy, to 'give them respect' and play it cagey and feel the way in which will only make the players more paranoid about the fact they are expecting to stick about 6 or 7 past them. Hey, stick Taylor up front I say.

This is exactly why I said he should no longer be captain. Leader of our football club? He'd rather fuck off to Argentina than stay and offer support to his team mates who are on a pretty important cup run and still a battle against relegation. I like Colo, but his head is not here anymore.

Winner.

The FA from my perspective should now publicly criticise and then expel the linesman from their ranks. They are admitting the tackle was bad but that the rules dictate they can't do anything about it. What they can do about it is publicly punish one of their paid officials who has made a bad decision that could have finished a players career. Instead though, I expect an announcement very soon that Carver will be punished. Farcical.
-
Yeah, I was there too, ran from the half way line at kick off iirc. I despise the little twat like.
-
Linesman has obvious said he saw it. If that is the case, then he should be sacked with immediate effect.

Many moons ago I turned up at the turnstile only to discover I didn't have the stub for the game, it was game 7 or something and I only had from 8 onwards. So I thought what an idiot, I should have checked, I must have torn off number 7 at game 6 and lost it or something. Dashed to the box office expecting to have to probably part with £20 or something as a stupidity tax only to discover a massive queue of fans from different parts of the ground with exactly the same problem. Anyway, the club put it down to a printing error, and we all got it about 15 mins late.

You would thinkm as someone who claims to be still scarred mentally and physically by a shocker tackle from 50 years ago, he would want such tackles that could ultimately end someones career clamped down on by making sure punishments are handed out? Typical footballing dinosaur who thinks it's ok to kick the shit out of each other as it's a mans game and all that shite.

Dave Whelan: 'I still cry over my FA Cup final leg break.' http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4832695/Dave-Whelan-I-still-cry-over-my-FA-Cup-final-leg-break.html Hypocrite.
-
Whelan did an interview a couple of weeks back about the leg break at Wembley for Blackburn that pretty much finished him as a footballer. Apparently he was crying as he told this tale about it being from an over the top tackle and claims he still has the stud marks in his legs from it as scars. You would think as someone who had a career ended by a shocker tackle, he would be our side here? Hypocritical twat.

Unbelievable some of the shite coming from Wigan. I'm all for backing your own players but when they're in the wrong then take off the blinkers and say what you see. Like I said, I couldn't give a toss if he bakes cakes for old people every Sunday and buys the Big Issue every week, the 'tackle' was poor, dangerous, and has finished a young lads season. Throw the book at the fucker.
