  1. Cos no one knows it's random yet. Might have been a bunch of football fans fighting. They stood down the terror theory quite quickly last night so the police likely know what's happened, but they can't tell the whole world as they don't want to fuck up a court case before it's even started.
  2. Doesn't look like it's either terror or immigrant related. They will be gutted. Sad state of affairs when the first thing the police need to do if a black man commits a crime is confirm he didn't arrive on a boat to prevent more hotels being set alight
  3. 2 British nationals arrested and it's not being investigated as a terror incident. Gammons disassemble!
  4. Yeah, the 2 new full backs and Wirtz are currently worse than the players the were bought to replace. And Isak is clearly a worse option than Ekitike atm. Add VVD and Salah being on the wane and it's fabulous viewing
  5. Hopefully no Yorkshire mags in the train https://x.com/BTP/status/1984764511946002461
  6. I wouldn't swap Liverpools bench for ours
  7. I coach the bairns U10 girls team in CLS. We aren't allowed to publicise who we played, what the score was, whether we won or lost or know where we are in the league table (FA rules apparently). It's all about just enjoying the matches. Writing the match reports for the clubs social media channels is a fucking pain in the arse mind
  8. Aye. Irrespective of whether we better last seasons finish, this is easily the strongest squad we've ever had in the PL. To be able to rest Bruno, Gordon, Botman, Trippier, Pope, Murphy, Miley, Joelinton, have Hall, Tino and Wissa injured and still beat a nigh on full strength Spurs team is unreal. And if you started those XI players we still would have beaten them comfortably. We might genuinely have a better squad than most of the PL at this point. 2 good players in every position, and more to come.
  9. The royal press release pretty much chucks him under the bus.
  10. Kudus aside, that looked like their strongest XI
  11. I've got a 9 year old daughter who answers questions like that
  12. Is that to leave their job, or to be sacked? Because there's no way Glasner should be that short to be sacked
  13. He's claiming it shows his squad isn't as good as City's. Conveniently forgetting that he left about 10 first team players out of the squad and spent the best part of £0.5b in the Summer
  14. Ronaldo and Messi getting in the world football team of the year ahead of Harry Kane is crazy. The blokes got 74 goals in 71 games since joining Bayern, and plays against decent teams rather than Disney FC and Al Shabab.
  15. Delap can be added to Sesko as strikers who did is a favour by going elsewhere. He should have got a straight red for his elbow last night, and it was a mental thing to do when he was already on a yellow. He probably fancies himself as a throw back number 9, but with VAR, those types of forwards just don't work these days.
  16. Burn did ok. He was much better going forwards then going backwards though. He stood off Bergval a few time so he wasn't beaten for pace and Bergval got balls across our box. Luckily Richarlison is shite and missed them all. Against the top teams that may have cost us last night. Not his fault, as he's clearly not a left back, but Hall and Tino look much more comfortable defending against quick wingers.
  17. Other than being at home to Cardiff, that's the best draw we could have got. Hopefully one of City, Arsenal or Chelsea get put out in the next round and then the remaining 2 draw each other in the semis!
  18. Liverpool have started a 2nd team tonight, with a 3rd team on the bench. Most of the first XI isn't even in the squad? The squad numbers on the bench 96, K. Figueroa 99, K. Gordon 94, M. Laffey 95, Wellity Lucky 65, A. Nallo 98, T. Pilling 97, C. Pinnington 41, Á. Pécsi 51, T. Koné-Doherty
  19. Willock and Krafth the obvious weak links in tonight's team. Osula a bit unlucky to miss out
