Yes, although it shows the laptop as being there, when you try and access it, it searches for a while then says \\ADMIN-PC cannot be found. Tried that, no joy. I've even tried turning the Firewall off, no joy. After much mucking around I managed to share the media onto the laptop but no further.

And to make things worse The Fish has tipped it, unlucky. As long as he hasn't sat on it. You'll all be laughing on the other sides of your faces when it romps home! Not really, just to piss you off we've all stuck a fiver on it -

Still having problems, the network can be seen on each of the machines I have. The main PC can see each of the three laptops and can access their drives however none of the other machines can access each other. As far as I can tell I've done the same setups on all of them. The main PC and the newest laptop is running Vista Pro, the other two laps are running XP. Over to you

Oh god nooooo! imagine the conversations in Starbucks today. "Yea oh well I was like sooooooooooooo hot..." "oh god yeaaaa I soo know what you mean, I was like well burning..." ad lib to fade..... Best bit of the story though was .... Armiger Joinery Limited was contracted to build the frame of the building and said the job would have been finished today. Stuart Armiger, who owns the firm, said: "The first thing I knew was when we were driving over the Tyne Bridge and couldn't see the building. We've been working for five weeks on this and we brought 10 lads down here today to finish it off. We're gutted." You can just imagine the conversation..... "well lads here we go, put in a days graft and then we're finished" "errrr boss..." "yes Micky" "where exactly is it again???" "just over there maaan ye daft twat, look just behind the big new one righ th....OH FUCK!!!"
