You will not get the full experience if you stay close to mam and dad. Also if you're Irish and go for an English Uni, I think that would help you get a place ahead of an English kid with the same grades I'm applying for two universites. One which is 1.30 - 2.00 hours away (belfast / jordanstown) and the other is... well... Newcastle.. 2? I applied for 6! We only get 5 applications in total.
