It's fine to be sceptical, but you must apply that to both sides of the coin. Doubt stories stating that he's staying until he re-signs but you must also doubt stories stating that he's leaving until he goes. Otherwise you're wandering down a path where there be monsters. That's what I read too. He seems settled and has made noises to that effect but I guess we won't know until the time's up.
