The idea that anyone could dedicate this much of their life to such a task is beyond unsettling. I think he just has a massive grudge against Sunderland. It'd be fair to say they're the worst Premier League side on average. They scrape survival every season, despite spending much more than other clubs, as the OP says, they never paste anyone and are often on the receiving end of pastings. Just an idea on a design for a statue in respect of their drink driving ex-chairman.Maybe the same pose as Shearer but with a bottle of wine in his right hand.
