Shocking end to the half though, became a typical Newcastle away performance in the end. We look like we lack energy. Not a good sign considering we have a great deal of work to do domestically too. Would be very tempted to get Obertan on in around 20-25 minutes for Marv with their high line. We need to keep the ball a bit more. We seem to always play around 4-5 passes and then go for the ridiculous hollywood pass. When we are completely capable of building up play, I just can't fathom why play a direct game. Marveaux needs to run at players - disappeared. Cabaye needs to lead - and get yelling at players, motivate them. I'm really hoping Pardew gets them back in the mind-set, because this game could be won. Could also be perfect for Campbell with his speed, to run at the back line. As usual, Jonas's crossing is dog shit and Santon seems anonymous as an attacking force. Cabaye also very poor but I do wonder if he is under instruction to sit back along with Santon. Sissoko hmmm not sure what to say but would like to see a bit more of his class on the ball. Goal seems to have knocked us for six so hopefully something can be sorted at half time.
