Aye, it's a good film. I quite liked the 'new' director's cut or whatever with the added comic strip style bits too. It's a bit dated but still worth a watch I reckon.

Sweet, thats Saturday nights viewing.

I once read a book years ago which The Warriors was based on, or visa versa.  Really annoyingly I cant remember what the book was called or who wrote it!  But that was a good read!

Warriors is a massive favourite of mine but I'm not sure if you watched it for a first time now it would stand up so well.  A bit like The Breakfast Club and Ferris Beuller.

I watched Colossal before I went on holiday.  The trailer made it look like a straight up comedy which, while there was certainly comedy in it, it certainly wasn't.  It ends up a strange mix of drama, comedy and action never seeming to know what tone it wants to set.  I discovered later that it's written and directed by the same guy who did Time Crimes which comes as no surprise.  Interesting but I'm not sure I'd recommend it.

I watched Breakfast Club at youth club when I was about 12.  Still one of my fave films now.

Again I love it but I'm not sure if you saw it fresh now you would feel the same.  Some films came out and hit a generation and zeitgeist and capture the hearts of people who seen it around that time.  But if you see it after films like American Pie and Superbad or whatever it's hard to go back to that time and feel the same way about it (even if you were of an age to have seen it at the time but just missed it).

I'm just relieved that I did see it when I was in my teens and still have the love for it now.

Along them lines, Big with Tom Hanks I can still watch that now over and over again.  When I was in NYC I looked for the places it was filmed and the Zoltar machine.  When we go back in Sept I am going to goto the street where they lived too.

Aye Big is another one that's the same.

Did you watch Warriors?  If so what did you think?

Train spotting 2. Decent, more than just the nostalgia trip I was anticipating. Diverted plot quite a bit from porno but enjoyable enough all the same. 6/10

Thought it was pretty average tbh and the plot diversions didn't help either. It wasn't shite but I'd hoped for better.

Really enjoying Better call Saul at the moment.  Part way through the second series.

That's the last episode of the second series isn't it?
