Caught it on Channel 4 last night. Excellent stuff. Always gripping. Forty years on it's still like the interviewed astronauts are talking about it for the first time.

By the way, it's available to watch for free for 30 days using the 4OD player.

Just watched it, fucking immense imo. All of them seemed truly humbled by the experience, should be shown in schools as an educational tool to show how fragile the earth really is and how were fucking it up big time.

Don't know were born tbh

Was on again over the weekend.

Should be watchable on 4OD but UI can't check at work...

Gentleman's Agreement

1947 Best Film oscar winner about the subjugation of jews in polite New York society. I like Gregory Peck. Bit of a sickly sweet ending like.

Suspicion

1941 Best Film oscar nominated film about a woman who marries a bit of a cad and worries about what he's up to. I like Cary Grant. Bit of a sickly sweet ending like.

Hot Tub Time Machine

Got into a free preview yesterday and I thought it was canny funny. Nothing incredible, but up there with the best gross-out comedies like There's Something About Mary and Dumb and Dumber. Chevvy Chase still isn't funny like.

Extraordinary Measures

Harrison Ford and Brendan Fraser

I would suggest that never in the history of movie making has such a potentially great film being ruined by wooden acting, criminal scriptwriting and awful direction.

The story is factually based on a father with two children with pompe disease. They are 8 and 9 and the life expectancy for this disease is 9.

He researches their disease, sets out to meet leading scientists, raises millions, sets up his own research company and finally finds a cure.

It should have been a heart wrenching classic, instead it was shit.

4 / 10

Cemetary Junction - Quite predicatable, nothing out of the ordinary and if it wasn't the work of Gervais and Merchant I doubt it would have achieved a cinematic release. Nevertheless it raised a smile from time to time and the actress who plays Jane is fist-eatingly attractive...

Was a good watch with a few funny moments.

That Bruce character reminded me of Andy Carroll when he was growing his mop.... Looks wise and the way I imagine Carroll acts on a night out!

Just got back from watching Iron Man 2.

Hmmm. pretty good. Rockwell, Downey Jr and Rourke were watchable as ever. I think I laughed out loud about 6 times which according Mark Kermode makes a film a good comedy. 7.5/10
