You've got to love "Bruno one yellow away from two game suspension" when the alternative would be "Hayden fucking loves a straight red"

Would Hayden even be registered to play?

Doubt it although that can change at the end of January I think.

Thinking about it... any new signings are able to play already (eg Timo Werner) so I assume we can do it now.

We can register him now. But if we do then I think it would mean he couldn't go out on loan again as you can only be registered with two clubs in one season iirc.

PL investigation being initiated against us for FFP. (Fully Fit Players). Looks like a points deduction. :(

It's a pro rata deduction. As long we can't get them fit, we'll forfeit some points. It was either that or break the other real FFP and win some more games but lose some points and.....hang on a minute....

What about playing Trippier as a holding ish midfielder, Tino right back, Longy and Bruno ahead of Trippier? Has to be better than fuckin Hayden. I’ll email Eddie right away, problem solved 😆

Made me think of Kenny Sansom playing "sweeper" for us and sent a massive shiver down my spine. No.

In theory full backs should have a lot of the attributes that could play a 6.

Keegan used to do it all the time. Venison, Watson and Elliott etc all played well there.

Comparing Kenny Sansom when he was here, to Trippier, is like comparing Wayne Fereday to Ronaldo. I think it’s a better shout than playing Schar there, which a lot of people seem to think could work (not me)

I don’t think either of them would work successfully but someone has to play there when Bruno picks up his inevitable yellow.

I could be wrong but I think he's had a few thigh problems over the last 2 or 3 years - maybe it was an underlying problem they've now fixed.

Just trying to look for positives.

So now we need a number 8, a number 6 and a number 9

Get a midfielder who specialises in 8 or 6, but can play the other. Get a wide player who can also play up front.

Job. Fucking. Done.
