no it doesn't.

they've been taking our best players at will since the 70s. they're doing it again today.

we've given them absolutely fuck all reason to think they won't be able to do exactly the same again in the future, whichever method they want to adopt.

Who exactly are you blaming for this? Players want to go to places where you're paid more and you win more, no fucking shit. Liverpool and plenty of other clubs use thier size history and buying power to their advantage, why wouldn't they. When they do it illegally and so blatantly it's fucking annoying but you have to fight back in a way that isn't also self destructive. Because any other outcome here would have been just that.

The only way you can fight this is to pay more (this has been cut off for us) or you start to win more in order to increase your profile, your prize money, your sponsorship etc. That's what we're doing, and doing very well, but we still have a way to go to be close to their spending level.

As much as it sucks that's what it boils down to. The gradual process that it has to be will make it all that much better when we reach that level. Beating them in the Cup was brilliant for the club but also extra special because it gave us a taste of what it was like to briefly unsettle the monopoly. They didn't like it and they've come hard at us to try to stop it happening again, buying our most prolific player and using their influence in the market to lure our targets away from us. This can upset us like they intend it to, or it can unite us further in the push to change the established order.

Btw I don't think Howe is interested in another player without PL experience. He wants Wissa of JSL because they can play while he integrates Thick Dick Nick.

If we get a Muani or Vlahovic in, it'll be proper desperation stuff.

Especially because the season fucking started three weeks ago.

Robbed by scousers… there’s a shock.

Im with Craig on this mind, this was the only realistic outcome, no matter how much of a shitty taste it leaves.

I also think that Howe will have had an influence in getting him out.

Why leave a shit in the floor, stinking up the place when someone is willing to pay to take it away.

The entire thing has been a shitshow from start to finish, but if blame is to laid anywhere, it’s at the feet of the player and the Hockle merchants on the Mersey.

Our club’s executive failings haven’t helped, but they certainly didn’t engineer this cunt’s departure.

It would be petty and vindictive of me to actually wish physical harm on Isak…

… so, aye, I hope he has a career ending injury on his debut for the Wall Pushers and never plays again.

Anyway… he’s gone, fuck him, who are we getting today?

Hopefully the career ending injury happens next week playing for Sweden so he never actually pulls on a red shirt,

I’ll tell you what, the people who I feel most sorry for in all this is Eddie Howes kids.

First day back at school and everyone will be wanting the lowdown on what’s happened. And no doubt there will be some thick school bully who blames Howe.

And then having to dodge Adam Pearson at the school gates.

I hope Eddies given them an extra day off.

He'd have only gotten himself concussed anyway. Schar is only capable of injuring himself.

Unlike you I'm not a serial divorcee so can't match your extensive experience of separations.

You need to look up the definition of serial. I already have, and so feel comfortable calling you a serial pigfucker.

we will never, ever, ever change the established order in this country by selling our best players to them.

not in my lifetime, not in yours, not in any fucker else's. it's as simple as that.

To be fair he misses loads of games through injury anyway.

Aye. Think it's more likely than not that in a few months time the dippers will be asking why the hell they spent 125M on someone who spends so much time in the physio room.

Leaked footage of Isak's medical. Hopefully, it's after the bank transfer and Yassir has hit them with a no backsies.

Listen it's clearly an emotional time for you. I always know when someone starts getting personal with divorce comments.

Take some time to try and get over it all.

You may have read it, you may not, but you certainly didn't comprehend it. Any outcome other than selling him would have done more damage to us than to them.

We've already changed our position in the pecking order dramatically over the last 4 years.

This is the golden truth that people need to wrap their heads around. We would have been damaging ourselves out if spite if we'd kept him.

This Isak thread should be locked & flushed down the shithouse

We need somewhere to react to his coming downfall. However I do think the word rat needs more coverage, ideally as his middle name.
