I still half reckon the only reason he's still on sky is some kind of care in the community type deal.

That and comic relief tbf.

I was just explaining that to my missus. She said why do they have him on, my answer was they feel a sense of responsibility to keep him off the bottle and give him some pocket money.

The ex CEO of Villa is on SSN slagging us for Isak - all the while defending doing the exact same thing with Jack Grealish.

Not really the same thing. He got Grealish to sign an extension with a release clause.

Tomasson: Isak is 'extremely professional'

Sweden head coach Jon Dahl Tomasson has called Alexander Isak 'extremely professional' and confirmed the Liverpool-bound forward will link up with the national team later today.

Just going to leave this here.

Well he's not going to come out and say "well yeah, the bloke is an absolute cunt and I wouldn't trust him as I far as I can throw him but we don't have an abundance of strikers like they do in England so we're stuck with him"

I don't know, how about "we're happy to welcome back one of the best strikers in the world?" Calling what he's done this summer "professional" makes a mockery of the entire profession.

Anyone with a pair of eyes can see he's been anything but professional.

You seem to be overlooking how articles are worded these days for engagement purposes. The interviewer may have asked what it's like to work with Isak, professional was probably mentioned in the context of "In all my years managing the National team he's been nothing but professional" and *boom* click bait headline that'll stir the masses of Geordies (plus any dippers than can read) and get the some engagement.

No one is buying it anyway, it's just a story to tell themselves. They're the same as Trump in a way in terms of outlook. All about portraying themselves as victims whilst at the same time throwing their weight around unopposed with their media influence and unchecked financial might - all of which was received for just being 'very good at business, and therefore more deserving than everyone else'.

Also, Man City have won twice as many league titles in the last 5 years than Liverpool have won in the last 30-odd years.
