I’m actually coming round to the opinion that this just won’t work out. There’s not a chance you can get Ekitike, Isak, Salah and Wirtz in the same side but circumstances dictate that they’ll probably all want to be. And that’s before you look at someone like Gakpo who was probably hoping for more consistent starts in a World Cup season

And he hasn't really strengthened the defence. Just feels like he went on a splurge a 15 tear old kid would have done on football manager (if that's still a thing) and unbalanced the squad in the process. Isak adds fuck all to them. The annoying thing for me is if he had stayed settled at NUFC I reckon we might have had a crack at the league.

I'm sure he'll come good eventually, but I'm thoroughly enjoying how average he's looking at the minute. And after his display of ego in the summer, I know he'll be absolutely hating the growing view that Ekitike is a better version of him.

He's a great player, he will come good. But he's not what they need now they also have Etikite. And thats the other annoying thing, LFC poaching him. I reckon most of us would have been okay with the sale of Isak with Ekitike as a replacement, but no, the cunts got greedy.

Btw, I looked up Slots managerial career. It's not that impressive is it? Im firmly of the belief that last season he was riding on the coat tails of Klopp and Salah impressing to get his pay day. Hopefully as you say he's just another Ten Haag and Salah is a diminishing force. The cunts.

I distinctly remember loads of pundits saying that if they signed Isak then you may as well have handed Liverpool the title before a ball had been kicked.

I think they won the title on muscle memory and a bit of organisation last season. And because all the chasers blew it at one point or another.

I think this season we'll find out what Slot is actually made of and so far the signs aren't great.

Bruce managed to get a few good games out of our players with the Rafa muscle memory. Not even close to suggesting it will be the same decline but I do think the decline is on the way.

After calling it all of last season I don't want Liverpool to be for me what Everton is for you 🤣

My dipper mate who was delighted they bought Isak said after they signed Ekitike that he wouldn't spend the £130m on Isak he would strengthen their defence.

Salah looks on a very quick trajectory down.  VvD also.  They have an aging Robertson too.  Konate isn't up to standard soon.

It's Liverpool though.  They will no doubt sell Salah to Saudi for £200m and wriggle out of it somehow.

Let's face it, Man City absolutely imploded and finished 13 points behind them. Had they been at the races there's no way Liverpool would have walked it as they did.

The media wank-fest makes it seem better than it was too.

If they had made a sensible offer early in pre-season, that may well have been the case, but as he decided that not kicking a ball would help ...

He is a lazy player let's be honest.

Liverpool fans didn't see that when he played for us just his goals, it'll slowly dawn on them that he's not all that.

I think they will sell Salah either in January or next summer. First half of last season he was at his best single handedly changing results in their favour, but the second half that run ended and he was on a decline fitting with his age. That has continued this season. It's no surprise to Liverpool though, it's why they wanted Isak all along. What doesn't make sense is both Isak and Ekitike in the same team. With Gakpo as well who is a quality player.

With Konate injured not sure how their defense will look. They're still favourites IMO.

I think that will likely prove to be bollocks, but I'd be absolutely delighted if he's right.

Aye totally

I mean Salah is a legend at the club but for the latter part of last season and this season he's been missing. He's also gone missing after most AFCONs and for the bigger games but he can always do it on a Tuesday night in Stoke.

Confidence is a big factor in any player. As is mental strength. Both will be tested by the entitled cunts who attend their home games if he’s not having a blinder every week

yeah, he won't get the unconditional love he enjoyed from our fans when he isn't performing. i'll be delighted if he's an expensive flop for them after the way he carried on to engineer the move

Salah's G&A numbers drop considerably post Ramadan. Understandably jaded.

Trent opened up a wealth of space for him.

He's got the AFCON coming up, then a month or so before Ramadan again.

27 is his worst return G&A (class for sure) wise in a Premier League season for the rat employers but fully expect this to be his worse season by some distance.

Here's hoping it majorly impacts Isak and Ekitike kicks up a stink if his minutes are reduced considerably.

Still expect Isak to come good and a couple of games for Sweden out of the English media limelight might help with that. They need 2 wins though, so anything shy of that would be a problem.

Bring Schar out of retirement for the next game, so he can provide a great equaliser of a tackle.

Agent Isak IMO.

A carefully orchestrated plan engineered by Isak, Mad Dog and PIF to destabilise Liverpool.

Bring him home.
