We DID waste time but I really couldn’t give a shit. As I told one of my Spuds supporting mates, if they were at the Etihad, winning 2-1, they’re going to waste time too. He couldn’t deny it.

Fuck them! We took the game to them

in their own yard and beat them easily.

Onto the Villa game, then Southampton and Chelsea. I can see us getting another 7 points before the break :nufc:

The difference is that we also took the game to them at times. We wanted another goal both before and after they scored. The way Sky were going on was like we had taken the ball into the corner as soon as it was kicked off after half time.

Didn't see the game as I was out. But chuffed Shelvey got some minutes. Gives us another option. Sounds like Willock had a decent game. He's growing each week.

Willock was class. Some lovely touches, passes and ball progressions. The only thing missing from his game at the minute is goals really

Some of our pressing and turnovers near their box btw. Such a joy to watch after season after season of camping in our own half. And we didn’t tire this week, amazingly, given it was mostly the same players who have played three times in a week.

Completely showing up Conte's moans about needing a squad to play every 3 days. We did it and got 7 points, they got 3.

Tbf all sides in Europe have played twice a week since early September and we haven’t. This was mentioned as a distinct advantage for us before the season started by members of this esteemed forum :cuppa:

Another 2 weeks of European matches for them to get through yet before the WC by my reckoning. We've got a really good chance of being in the top 4 come the WC break.

And these daft shites in the Big 6 have got to get back on with Europe again in the new year.

Finishing top 4 should be totally unrealistic, yet there's a genuine chance of it happening.

Yeah, we're a team  transforming, going up to the next level. What I also loved was the fact that the players just look so confident and enjoying it, the interview afterwards with Bruno and Wilson was class.

Chorley is having the time of his life ripping it out of all the daft shites who've spent the last 48 hours lying in Johnson's behalf.

Plus we’re likely to only have three players off to the WC whereas a lot of clubs around us will have more players getting no break at all.

All they've shown so far is Spurs chance after Spurs chance.

and then most of the questions (apart from shearer’s gushing opening spiel) are about Tottenham’s slopping play - just fuck off

Aye that's the biggest change isn't it? Its incredible to think of the transformation from Bruce's time. The fitness levels required as well.

Its as if the players have been dying to execute a coherent plan, starved by years of cluelessness and general apathy under the previous management,

Incredible to think if we hadn’t wasted points against Palace and Bournmouth or dropping points against Jürgen’s group of wankers

we were robbed of points against Liverpool and Palace. We should be sitting in the top 2 we’re it not for dodgy refs and VAR

Plus the unchecked pen at Wolves and the harsh high foot call at Brighton.
