Kevin Carr's Gloves 4469
Am I the only one who thought he was better on the wing than through the middle v Brum?

OTF 9021
Now that he's got the Joelinton hair Howe was able to reinvent him. Bit taller than your average winger, but brings great physicality and directness on the strength of that game. If Wilson can stay fit Osula is more likely to get time on the pitch substituting for Murphy which is surely why Howe gave him a run there.
spongebob toonpants 4595
He definitely looked to bring some pace aggression and energy to the wing going forward. Not in anyway convinced he's got the concentration or discipline to actually play in the defensive part of the system though Having said that If anyone can break him in Eddie can

wykikitoon 24209
He was more involved on the wing due to how we were playing. I really enjoyed watching him.

Dougle 3913
Why did he get booked? Assaulted, more times than I could be arsed to count, the thugs wearing blue getting upset that the lad had a bit of skill, then fucking five or six of the cunts surrounding him after a tackle in which their cunt was the aggressor, then he and only one of their skill less wankers get a booking. 🤷♀️

Agreed, though. His booking was ridiculous anyway but even more so in the context of what else went on.
thebrokendoll 11094
sure I remember reading at the time that this kid was a tindall recommendation based on him having worked with him in the past? could've taken a punt on him either as a striker or on the right wing yesterday and it's difficult ro believe he'd be as ineffective as isak or murphy, but playing 2nd fiddle to wilson who's getting paid for fucking nowt during the last few months of his contract. kid must be worse than useless in training if even tindall wasn't prepared to give him some time yesterday. Holden McGroin 8188
it’s pretty hard and harsh to judge him on his appearances so far but I’m going to anyway. 😀 He has only really looked okay v lower league opposition. He looks a fish out of water when he has come on in the PL. To be fair, Wilson has looked even worse. His body must have finally given up on him but he is just a poacher so might be needed if we ever need a late goal and are piling on the pressure. PaddockLad 20086 Posted yesterday at 11:42 Share Posted yesterday at 11:42 I think we should forget about him playing up front for the moment. If we don’t bring a right winger in I think we’ll see a lot more of him….
toonotl 3815
You can see the rawness to him that Howe and co. have spoken about. He could do anything at any moment. But it's the old Mitchel Johnson situation, if he doesn't know what's going to happen then neither does the opposition. He's definitely an X-Factor player or whatever that fruity French phrase was that Dave likes, "Je suis ponce." Was that it?
Kitman 2536
I wonder whether he should go out on loan? He's not going to develop with occasional cameo appearances

He's not going to develop with occasional cameo appearances I'd keep him, he'll get more from training under an elite coach with elite players than going out on loan to wherever his competitive level currently is and we don't have such a big squad that hes just never going to get a run out. If he was behind three or four other players Id send him out but as it is (assuming wilson leaves) he's our second choice striker

t00nraider2 45
It seems like he will be another St Maxi. A bit of fancy footwork but then lose the ball.

Well he's certainly no Jack Clark, but then again who is? He's a generational talent on his day.
