I find it hard to understand anyone making a fuss over a squirrel. Are they rare in the north east?

I've seen 4 in my village in 49 years and one of them was plastic.

Tend to see quite a few in the parks in the major cities, but you would as that's why they were imported in the 19th century from the states.

You go to London, Edinburgh etc and they're all over. No idea about the parks of Newcastle as I don't frequent them.

Suffice to say they are rare where I live so to see one in your garden is canny. :)

Not at all! My mam and dad get loads in their garden and they're in bloody Washington - they're everywhere!

Good to see that your family take the piss as much as we do CT - that was class :D

btw CT if you put out food for the birds in winter, your resident squirrel will steal it all. So you will have the pleasure of watching one fat squirrel in your garden and a few sad looking emaciated birds.

9, but most of them were fairly obvious in where they were leading the reader. "Is this circle [a] a circle or I'm a gullible idiot!" So I assumed that was what it was doing with the enormity question too.

As in a taxi brought me all the way from Boldon but I ran off without paying the fare, so I bought this bottle of vodka with the money I saved.

I knew a guy who would say "brought" in both cases.

Some people seriously think specific is pronounced pacific. I don't know how you confuse the two. Same with bought and brought.

An old boss of mine spelled it that way, on a visual management board for all of his staff and his bosses to see.
