  1. Off the top of my head.......Robert Maxwell.
  2. That's good of him. I wonder if they all said, 'actually we'll just hang around for a bit, ta very much'. Also wonder what he told Ba, Remy, Dubuchy and Cabaye?
  3. No, he was the one who suggested PLAYERS SHOULD GET THE MINIMUM WAGE AND BE HAPPY WITH IT.
  4. He had a proper centre-forward in the friendlies. Then the young lad had to adapt to the PL with Tino as his partner. Never stood a chance.
  5. Did Carol Smilie play a part? Travesty if she didn't.
  6. Our new bathroom couldn't accommodate our old bidet. It's a miss, like. If it wasn't for baby wipes my arse would have more Klingons in it than a Star Trek battle scene.
  7. 'I use Agua de Rusty as my natural oil don't you know'.
  8. Any jobs gannin at your place? Mine's a parcel of shite.
  9. He was always going to end up in jail or UKIP.
  10. You are the 2014 version of this. .........And I can imagine this music playing in the background as you take your food pics and douse your budgie with rinse aid, etc, etc.
  11. Let's be honest, it's fucking shite. Could be worse, could and should be much better but I've given up on the shirts now, we're doomed to wear a shit top. Unfortunately we've more things to worry about with this club and the people who run it. P.S. Could have a superb shirt but it still has wonga on it.
  12. Cut off Pardew and Colo laying two wreaths on John and Liam's seats for the ads then came back from the break halfway through the silence, (for those not watching). Been impress with young Rolando. The Aussies haven't played for three months and it shows.
  13. Reading Stevie and Ant's bickering again was quite amusing I have to say.
  14. Speaks volumes that people who are very seldom on here have felt compelled to break their radio silence. Had limited chat with Gejon but he seemed a decent lad.
  15. Post on here again, Wardi. Your names mean fuck all to me, (my away days started 1988), but I'm pretty sure I'd recognise your faces. Thanks for your memories, mate. Your tales are not wasted, believe me.
  16. Same. Still a young lad and into boxing wasn't he? RIP.
  17. I disagree as it happens, I think any Mag who dies in a tragic accident at or en route to supporting their side should be remembered permanently in some way, plaque or not. Our support is the lifeblood of this club and at present are the only thing that makes this a 'big' club. These two were die-hards and John Alder in particular has been a permanent fixture at every NUFC game since the year I was born! That surely deserves some permanent memorial/plaque around St.James' Park? As CT states, it's big enough! What's a small plaque in one of the many thousands of breeze blocks in our stadium? It gives young supporters of the future an idea of the heritage of the club and the supporters whose footsteps they follow.
