This. We're also only 3 league games into the season. Not much point critiquing individual players' form (and thus the reasons for it) this early on.

On one hand it's massively underwhleming (oh wow, a new row for apps!), and on the other hand that's not Apple's fault - there isn't much more that can be added to smartphones that hasn't already been introduced. From now on it's about improving things, such as more powerful processors and better battery life. Not really sure why anyone would feel a desperate need to upgrade to this from a 4/4S unless they're massively into their mobile gaming/a rabid Apple fanboy.

I see Sterling made the England squad. That's the senior England squad. Not the U19s. Not the U21s. Just typical; be English and play for a big club like Liverpool*, and you'll get hype you probably don't deserve (all those articles after he looked alright against Man City praising him excessively), you get international call-ups you probably don't deserve. Nothing against the player by the way. He's had 2 pretty decent games in his top level entire career. This is far, far, far too early. So many players have deserved it more than him over the years and not even been considered. *Lallana is an exception, but he's consistently proved his quality in the lower leagues and taken it into the Prem. Can't help but feel he's a bit of a last resort perhaps. I know I shouldn't care because I'm completely apathetic about the England national team, but still.

I'm an OOT so it doesn't seem right for me to claim Sunderland as my most hated club. I'm not a wannabe Geordie or anything, never pretended otherwise. Knew a couple of SAFC fans in recent years who always had it in for me because I support Newcastle but have no personal ties to the area. Couldn't even engage them in friendly banter around the derbies. Felt the need to question me every time we talked football. I've supported NUFC for so long that of course I'm hardly Sunderland's biggest fan but I dislike the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool a lot more.

Had plans for a very constructive Saturday. Woke up originally with a blinding headache, feeling nauseous (no alcohol last night but it might have been the curry I ate), and pretty much slept through most of the day. FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUU
