The most worrying thing about where America is right now, is that they're less than a year in. It's going to get a hell of a lot worse before it gets better.

Think we've called it right mostly on here. With a proper striker that's a different game. Gordon likely better on the left too, think his missed shot killed him mentally which is why I'm glad he got the goal in the end. Schar's concussion a real misfortune as I think we were doing ok otherwise. That was a game that we absolutely could have won without, dare I say it, being at our best. We look solid, we just need to sort the goals. It'll come.

I have looked into this further. It is classic leftist infighting that also IMO ultimately comes down to the fact that they made Palestine too central an issue for this party. Corbyn seems to have surrounded himself with what the Sultana faction are calling 'conservative Muslim men', and she in turn is a hair trigger sort of person anyway, so she's woken up and chosen violence today. In short:

The fucking left, man Why do we even bother.

It's a really good example of what a non-entity they are in relative terms tbh

Good knowledge tbf.

Aye, the era of 'common sense'. A period where average IQ individuals become totally detached from how smart they are relative to everyone else, and have no concept at all of how much work goes into actually being an expert in something.

Oh fuck off, that sounded really interesting for a moment but now ruined by the idea that he's just another right wing bellend.

Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER

Didn't think there were any pundits from other teams, doesn't Liverpool have a total monopoly there? -
Story was always good, some elements of those games I loved. The deep roads and associated lore were awesome, loved that.

I tried to go back to DAO a while ago because I do love those games but I don't know if it was just the steam port or what, but it felt like literally stepping back in time to an ancient age of gaming (2009 release but felt older). It looked really dated and I just couldn't get away with it. I mean I still revisit Skyrim from time to time which was 2012. Mass Effect 1 is 2007 ffs.

Not at all saying they're not being looked after, but it's different having the ear of someone who can make decisions rather than just someone who can represent your interests. I've worked directly under a CEO and also in middle management, and I'd take the former every time in terms of ability to get shit I needed and feeling attached to the direction of the business. I think it needs to be someone from the executive really, someone on the board.

Agree with those takes with the caveat that I sort of believe both had a hand in the culmination of events over time that led to where we are. Keegan opened the door to the idea that this club could be something, and Howe has walked through it. But yes, Howe in terms of his achievement is on another level now.

I think she's a big loss in a 'heart and soul' kind of way. She was the bridge between playing team and executive and that sort of role is really important IMO because it helps sell the vision and founds a sense of cohesiveness at all levels of the organisation. Whatever mistakes she made, and I'm sure there were many, I don't think that component of what she offered is easily replaced (or indeed has been replaced).

He was captain at Bayern for quite some time, and Bayern are very upset that we landed Nick. I am certain that's the context for this article.

McGregor is wildly unpopular in Ireland, it was stupid of him to imagine he could run. And what in hell is going on in Labour now? An adviser now forced to resign over abuse of Diane Abbot. The wild thing with Labour is that they're not even really under any pressure. Everyone hates them but I don't think anyone was very animated about it...

Instead we're presumably passing on intel to them to assist with the genocide.

Agreed, I appreciate both but am a bit put off by the fact that it's always just chicken and curry sauce. Maybe that's how it's meant to be but I like having some onions and other elements to it

For real. As if she gives a shit that he's dead based on this reaction. If my partner had just been assassinated I'd be too devastated to even speak. But then I'm not a psychopath.

I enjoy spicy food, living in China for a year built up some tolerance, but my question here is if this is actually enjoyable from a taste perspective, or if it's just about bravado If it's the former, I'll look into it.

One day, surely, the penny has to drop with the people on the right that there's a reason their movements are all headed by criminals and wronguns.

Totally with you on this, plus it would keep Arteta in a job long term which is better for us when/if we are ready to challenge.

It's not as if Slot would have any choice or ability to control what would happen anyway. He's just spouting off to try and paint Isak as a non-problem player in this context.

From what I can see on the BBC they're just not online enough to understand that those bullet casings don't have to have anything to do with Antifa. It's all memes.
