I hate to be this bloke, but the original Star Wars was shite. You have rose tinted glasses because of the age you were when you saw it the first time. If you watch them objectively now, they are shite. I loved the Alien films when I was younger, I still like them as nostalgia but objectively, shite. All the add on Alien films have been mega bad, because the original premise was bad.

Yeah I get that it’s the weakest spot atm. But do you, with limited resources, spend a large chunk on someone you might be replacing next summer if a better player comes along? Realistically having to spend twice. Or spend it on a centre back, who it appears is available now, and solves a position for 6-8 years, even though you can probably do without a centre until next year?
