  1. He’ll have stood down before the election at this rate this relates to what I said earlier about him not being a serious politician. He’s a fucking lazy cunt and is just a sound bite artist. The details of actual policy are beneath him and beyond his field of interest. That’s why he gets so snippy the second he’s challenged on what Reform’s policies are.
  2. So this in part explains why Reform / Farage are targeting this seat. And this lot previously elected a Tory MP? I know people can’t help being thick as fuck but I’ve long since lost patience with a lot of the voters in places like this
  3. I recently bought a hotel in Mayfair and another one on Park Lane. I was, of course, playing the board game Monopoly.
  4. Congratulations or commiserations or something
  5. I hope Lee Anderson chins him before the campaign ends
  6. Just reminded me but I saw a bit of an old HIGNFY the other week. Specifically from just before the last General Election. I’d forgotten just how hopeless Corbyn was. Apart from just not being very personable in general, he just couldn’t give a straight answer on the antisemitism problems in the party. Almost every time he’d avoid condemning it or apologising for it and, on being asked again, he would reply ‘can I just finish?’ We’ve been through this before re: his policies being good (and popular). And he did engage a lot of younger voters. But as a leader he was fucking shite, man. It’s insane he ever was
  7. It’s the same bar as that, but after the clientele had discovered amphetamines
  8. Must save him a fortune being able to buy kid’s sizes
  9. Talk TV used to be on freeview etc. it broadcast on that terrible local news station - 7 on on freeview as well as on Sky etc. But the viewing figures were so poor it’s now online only I think
  10. This is beyond desperate like. The culture war failed because people care about money in their pockets much more. This is likely to backfire imo but the campaign is going so badly that they’re just giving it another go
  11. This is it for me. I don’t think he’ll cross to the Tories and/or become their leader. I do agree it’s plausible but I think it’s more likely they’ve done extensive research into where they regard is the best chance of him winning. You mentioned the previous research commissioned by Banks. What I think will actually be in Farage’s mind is a seat in the commons to replace his former EU grift. He’ll use it as a platform to constantly be on GBeebies, etc. and rinse the expenses to the hilt. He’s not a serious politician. He’s a populist con man who says everything is shite without any solutions
  12. Hopefully it’s like Jerry St Clair’s announcement on Phoenix Nights. With a different result
  13. He’d hate actually having to do the job. I suspect he just wouldn’t do it and see how long he could get away with it.
  14. It might help the Tories a bit. But people are, I think, voting for Reform because they are neither of the main parties. Quite how anyone is taken in by Farage is beyond me like. That would basically be them backtracking on everything they’ve said so far in this campaign
  15. She’s tapped. She’s still a cunt though
  16. I’d counter by reminding him what a huge supporter of the Tories Savile was. Not to mention his close relationship with Thatcher, who allowed him to spend Xmas at Chequers and lobbied for his knighthood, despite being warned about his behaviour
  17. He’s so shit at this it’s untrue.
  18. Ah, I’m gutted to hear that. I guess everyone knew his life would be seriously curtailed by the disease but it’s still horrible news. Like ewerk alludes to, him and his former captain Kevin Sinfield did loads to raise money and awareness about the disease in a way that totally transcended Rugby League (and sport in general to be honest).
  19. While I think it’s a disgrace, what impact does the dozy cunt think it’ll have. People normally vote for parties rather than individual candidates anyway. He’s as stupid as he is desperate. I expect the BBC will now make this their headline for the next couple of days?
  20. Yeah. She’s an absolute fucking cunt. But she’s not going achieve much with her lies imo. It also shows why Labour have been so cautious prior to the campaign, because this is what they’re up against from the supposedly impartial BBC. Let alone the openly right wing press. Just look at the people she’s supported in all but name and the damage they’ve done to this country.
  21. Saw that earlier. Electoral calculus gives him a 3% chance of retaining his seat.
