  2. Vicariously celebrating a stupid yellow card is about their level
  3. Germany scored after 7 seconds v France too
  4. Have they decided they like Jobe again then? I thought he was shite
  5. Honestly don’t think anyone but Southgate would persist with that 4-2-3-1 with the personnel England has. Maguire still getting starts and still getting exposed too. He shouldn’t even be making the squad. I know it’s ‘just a friendly’ but it could’ve been 3 or 4 - nil
  6. If the deep state existed to the extent they claim it does, how did they all become leader of their country?
  7. Gallagher is just getting in Rice’s way most of the time. Even against Brazil the two DMs seems like overkill a tad.
  8. A lot of people vote in self interest. They think the Tories make them better off. It’s only when they realise they aren’t better off that it changes. For what it’s worth I almost have more disdain for these floating voter types than dyed in the wool Tories but they definitely exist and are selfish. It’s telling that it’s took things to get this bad gif the Tories to be facing annihilation. What I don’t understand is when people who are £500 ‘richer’ a year don’t seem to realise they’re worse off of their kids schools are under loads of pressure, their mother has to wait for ever for a hip replacement, the public transport system is shit, and the roads are full of potholes etc.
  9. It was getting Brexit done in part and Corbyn. Loads of traditional Labour voters were put off by him. I’ve mentioned it on here before I think but o know a couple who live in Blyth. They both voted Green last time round. They don’t like the Tories, would never vote UKIP, who were on the ballot paper then but couldn’t get away with Corbyn. One has an ex-Army brother and the other has a dad who served in the Royal Navy. Which was a factor in them being suspicious of Corbyn. I’m not really saying they were right or wrong but they’re natural Labour voters who were turned off by him
  10. They were lied to though. I take your point but as we’ve said on here before it’s relatively easy to sell a bullshit vision of something that hasn’t happened. Whereas now they know they were lied to it’s different. The other thing is, which is opinion because I haven’t research to back this up, I think a lot of people who’s never even bother voting were motivated to vote in the referendum.
  11. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-edinburgh-east-fife-68643341 looks like she enjoyed it
  12. Yeah. ‘66 was a sea of Union Jacks. Anyone getting wound up by this needs to give their head a shake. Although it winds up all the right people so it’s all good
  13. I remember you mentioning that at the time and I couldn’t help but see it every time after that
  14. Loads of bong too
  15. From an article in the beeb about the new England kit: I’d like to think Joe is a sweaty on the wind up
  16. I’m off to watch Heaton Stannington v Sunderland RCA tonight. If essembee is there to take Grounsell Park good and proper, you’ll hear it here first
  17. What a fucking player he was.
  18. Corbyn’s ‘bravery’ did a lot of fucking good and was fundamental in facilitating a hard Brexit tbh
  19. Are they responsible for creating the amazing atmosphere at the Emirates?
  20. Mate, I’m not exactly thrilled with the state of UK politics, or the world in general. But Labour giving the Tories a right fucking shoeing at the next general election is a definite positive in my view. I don’t know where we’re headed off the back of that but it’s got to be better than the alternative.
  21. What platform? People are going on like they’ve announced a programme of Reaganomics. Their platform is doing things differently to the Tories and improving people’s lives in the process. They’ll be judged on that. Not promises they make 6 months before an election or empty statements about Gaza or whatever else the Corbyn won the argument twats are obsessing over
