  1. We use Gemini at work.
  2. Tried that. It would’ve been worse
  3. I’d rather watch Shakespeare and Hathaway
  4. I know it’s not Chaucer but I fucking hate people who pretend that Shakespeare’s comedies are funny purely to demonstrate their superior intellect
  5. Nothing says ‘proper identity’ and ‘building something sustainable’ like signing a brand new first XI
  6. I totally agree tbh but it’s just where I think Howe is coming from. I don’t necessarily think it’s any slight on Hall. And especially with Trippier back in the side it a return to that lopsided four at the back which is almost a three with Trippier pushing forward and getting more involved in play. I also think Burn was targeted more at LB that season when Joelinton got injured. The current midfield 3 offers a lot of protection to Burn / defensively in general. TL/DR: what the fuck do we know compared to Howe and the backroom staff?
  7. I think Howe just really rates Burn and what he brings to the side as much as anything.
  8. Ah, mate. That’s awful news. My condolences
  9. It’s different with managers to players because you don’t have that relatively small window at your peak like with players. But he won’t stay here indefinitely unless the club properly sorts out the hierarchy with the right people who have the authority to sign off deals. And with that also making real progress towards enabling us to compete due to increased revenue streams. I think he was frustrated this summer and understandably. The Isak situation might have been unavoidable anyway but the comments about good players not hanging around were telling imo
  10. Yeah, Slow Horses is great. I’m going to save them up though and watch them all later this month. I think it’s a 6 part series again. I think they’ve already started filming series 6. Tooj was telling me the books are great too, including a prequel set during the Cold War which tells the back story of Lamb, Taverner and David Cartwright

    Gigs 2025

He married a lass from our school (Elizabeth Moses) who was a model. She wasn’t like mega famous but quite well known in fashion circles I think. Thats why the Lemonheads used to do a Christmas gig every year at the Cluny in the Ouseburn. I think they split up (a canny while back now) because he was always on drugs
  12. They did a similar ‘retro’ thing for the away venues we’d be going to when the draw was announced didn’t they? The woman sounds uncannily like the late Kathy Secker.
  13. Just making them feel at home tbh
  14. The problem he will face is having a player in Etikite who plays a similar role in the same position but currently looks a lot better. It also seems very plausible that Etikite really doesn’t like him, isn’t too shy about letting him know and would absolutely fucking batter him if it came to that.
  15. Well I stand corrected. I think they brought that in last year anyway but it must’ve changed. I must I admit though it was based purely on an article from last season (I think). I couldn’t honestly say I know it’s true because I took very little interest in European competitions last season after taking the huff when Man City turned up half cut for the cup final and let their bitter rivals have the run of Wembley because it was only their second consecutive double at stake
  16. More games so for tv I think. Like the Thursday games. I read somewhere that from last season, ie with the revamped CL, each match week is devoted to one UEFA competition so they’re spread over more days / times in that given week. Instead of Tuesday/Wednesday CL and Thursday for Europa League it’s CL games only this week and Europa League last week
  17. You’d have to ask why the club Rummenigge used to play for and still works for wanted to sign Woltemade if he’s that bad. It’s either sour grapes or he’s been reading CT’s posts on here
  18. There’s inane questions, then there’s that
