  1. focus a bit boring octavia a bit grandad mondeo already got one Mazda 6? Old-model Merc C-class?
  2. Speaking from experience, three in the back would be a bit tight in a Civic. They're good cars, as long as you don't have to deal with the main dealers or their customer care department who are useless, useless cunts. I would never have another Honda product due to their ineptitude.
  3. Small: Ford Focus Medium: Skoda Octavia Large: Ford Mondeo
  4. Good. I've got a tenner on the swiss twat.
  5. 13 for the first test: Other than Bell, exactly what I would have chosen.
  6. Why? you can have coloured numbers in the fizzypop can't you? Racist. Number of a different origin better?
  7. Why? you can have coloured numbers in the fizzypop can't you?
  8. No patch on the back for the blades I see.
  9. Agreed. No source/quotes, why would hanging on til the season starts make the club more valuable? Having said that, nothing surprises me with this cunt and his shit decision-making.
  10. Bernie courting controversy again: Hitler? He got things done, says Formula One chief Bernie Ecclestone Bernie Ecclestone praising Adolf Hitler for his ability to “get things done” and saying “We did a terrible thing when we supported the idea of getting rid of Saddam Hussein. He was the only one who could control that country"
  11. Been listening to the pre-Ashes chat on the radio. It's getting exciting. The possibility of bringing Harmi back is a gamble and a backwards step imo.
  12. He's was a toffee as a kid. Think his dad played for them.
  13. You couldn't have described my feelings about new people better than that. I concede it's completely the wrong attitude to have and one which has grown over the years, but everyone is a cunt till proven other wise with me, I've written that on here before. To be fair any psychologist would tell me and you Gemmill that is purely our problem, but I don't care, I've been stung by so many total cunts in my time that I have that hard nosed view of people. I'm a suspicious cunt, and it's refreshing when I really like someone as I'm of the opinion 70% of people I just can't get on with, again a lot of it is me. I can get on with women who don't like football that isn't an issue, but a bloke who doesn't like football I just find I have fuck all to say to them even about other facets of life than blokey things. But more disappointing when it turns out that they were a cunt all along. I agree that there is something not right about a man who doesn't like football. That automatically puts them on the 'not worth bothering with' list and its highly unlikely that they'll ever come off it. Think I've only got one good friend who isn't a football supporter.
  14. He'll be more popular than ever with the divine-righters now. Hope he gets a hat-trick against them.
  15. Likewise. I've got enough good mates and I'm not that bothered about gathering anymore acquaintances. I go on instinct now, if the first impression isn't great I'll make little or no effort to get on with 'new people'. Sometimes I'm wrong, but if I am, meh.
  16. Those who were defending Ashley until the last day of the season are now very, very quiet. Sounds about right, going for the "i was completely wrong and look like a tit, so i'll just go quiet and never mention it again rather than admit it" approach! For the record, I've never said Shepherd [with Hall] was a "great chairman", only that he had the good of the club at heart and showed ambition, and gave us the best 15 years of my time supporting the club. The only good 15 years in fact, apart from the Fairs Cup win. It is others who construed that in different ways. I've no idea if he would succeed or not, maybe he doesn't have the backing, but again it is others who undervalued having the good of the club at heart and showing ambition. I agree that he cared more, he certainly wouldn't have done this to us, if he'd taken us down he'd have stayed, kept Shearer on and backed him as much as possible to get us back up. Then again i don't think he'd have got us relegated, he tried his best with Souness and Roeder, but i think he'd have always changed things just in time and just well enough to scrape by! That's hardly a glowing tribute but christ we'd take it over what we've had done to us by Ashley. yes, and now we are relegated. He wouldn't have got us relegated, or he would never have sold off good players, made a profit in 3 transfer windows, and watched a January transfer window go by without bringing in one player who would have won a solitary point in any game from somewhere that would have kept us up. Amazing the amount of pricks on NO who said that I would rather be right about Ashley being a cunt than be a success. Quite incredible. Of course, I've paid for the next 2 seasons, and like everybody else, knew what was coming ..... Quite a few accused NUSC members of being happy if we got relegated so we could say we were right only a complete fucking idiot would even think like that It's over-run with idiots though isn't it? The ashley apologists are one of the main reasons I stopped using that board. That and the strong anti-Keegan vibes made it repellent to me.
  17. Didn't the trophy get pinched from West Auckland's clubhouse? Did they ever recover it?
  18. I didn't even know you could get supermarket vouchers until I read this thread.
  19. It's matt and perfectly functional. Just read a review on the new NC20 which apparently has a superb screen. It's supposed to be a good compromise between netbook and laptop, costs about £370. Good, can't abide glossy reflect-o-rama screens.
