  1. Spot on. The new track at Abu Dhabi cost untold billions but is completely anodyne. The race before that was at Interlagos, a historic circuit that has buildings crumbling to dust in the middle of a crime hot-spot, but always produces exciting racing.
  2. Is the chair the same bloke who edits The Mag?
  3. It was European City of Culture you know. I left my car there, and when I came back it was up on books.
  4. He did, aye. I wonder what happened to him / where he is now?

  7. What if we only need to bat once though Ken?
  8. Having been to Chatham I can well believe this.
  9. once a good player, always a good player. Why do players retire then? I thought you had retired from here ? I thought you had retired from being a boring, thick repetitive old tit. Seems not! http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?...st&p=787668 Not going to follows Leazes around anymore? Righto. Keep it all in one thread you say?
  10. So, which two Fifa states have we not either beaten in a war or colonised?
  11. Mince, leek pudding and mash. A proper sticks-to-your-ribs winter warmer.
  12. She came up against two of the best in Liz and Stella. That look Liz gave Stella at the end was pure daggers Must be the most angry taxi since Dennis Wise kicked fuck out that driver in 1996. You could cut it with a knife. Liz loves herself, the others are more talented and better sales people, if she wins it will be purely on looks. Sugar's got form for that mind.

  14. I don't think that's actually what he was trying to say from memory. Something about it being a stepping stone in a move to a bigger club. Was complaining about not getting opportunities at Newcastle, which was right, but how much of that was down to his attitude and the fact that we didn't have a manager who could keep him in check (Joe Kinnear FFS). Aye, basically the point I was making tbh. A combination of him being a thick fucker and English not being his first language. Leazes has latched onto it big time but it's really not the best example to keep citing when trying to make a point about other clubs having overtaken us. And as I say that move to the 'big club' is yet to materialise. Something Leazes relates to, hence him latching onto it. http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?...st&p=807697
  15. She's a cross between a lumberjack and Harry Potter, obviously
  16. He be better of coming across on the M62 and up the A1 wouldn't he? I know the snow gates have been shut on the A66 to stop anyone attempting it.
  17. You must be losing a fortune CT. For a professional driver is it not worth investing in a set of winter tyres?
  18. http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?...st&p=691657 They must've moved.
  19. Aye, you must've been looking at this one: http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?...=28879&st=0
  20. The stand-up was alright but the sketches were desperate. I can see why BBC2 passed on it.
  21. Something is telling me this is going to be shite, but I like Frankie so I hope to be proven wrong. http://www.channel4.com/programmes/frankie...tramadol-nights That beard is a fucking disgrace btw.
  22. Anyone been watching The Trip? I can see it being a proper love-it-or-hate-it thing but its really grown on me. What at first seems like another platform for Rob Brydon to do his Ronnie Corbett impressions is, in fact, quite an introspective study on the character, foibles and traits (or exaggerations of them) of Steve Coogan. Its a very British sort of comedy. And its shown some lovely landscapes from the Lakes and the Dales too.
