  1. Would love to see Alex making a 6 part Netflix series about it. Sitting in the production meeting, absolutely adamant that a full hour has to be spent on drugs and house music.
  2. Done by Beckham's production company isn’t it? I know, I’m surprised he has a production company but should be able to see where this is going a mile off
  3. The way Lascelles is going, he’ll try it, miss by ten yards and end up breaking Fernandez’ leg instead
  4. This will easily be 5 or 6 nowt. And that’s if they ease up in the last 20 minutes.
  5. Ive had one day of sickness in about 5 years so I would fully expect my little cunt of a gaffer to play arseholes about it. Then again, what’s the crack with references? Don’t they have to have solid ground to give you a dodgy one? I probably won’t go down the sickness route, might just take a dive in the canteen where there’s no cameras, say the floor was wet and get a claim going.
  6. Apparently he’s playing tomorrow so that should be a laugh. I’m sure our crack medical team has made sure there’s no more lingering effects
  7. Never had anything as bad as midnight shifts and tbh, the actual work isn’t too bad, it’s just the package it’s wrapped up in that has gotten gradually worse to the point where it’s genuinely hard to believe. As for vacancies, I can probably transfer to another industry as I do a lot of delivery coordinating and inventory/purchasing so it’s not necessarily so niche that I’m railroaded in one field.
  8. Cheers, boys. Was leaning towards working the notice and going crackers in the job hunt but like said, too much uncertainty to take the plunge. Luckily no mortgage or kids but do have rent and bills and all the usual expenses to think of (the lass). The Fish’s tactic of putting in the notice and then going on the sick for that month seems like a belter idea though. First time for everything
  9. Anyone had any experience of leaving a job without another one lined up? Obviously, I’m searching and should hopefully have a couple of interviews lined up (already have one on the cards but it’s a sidewards step really. Will take it just to get out of this place tbh) but if I stick where I am any longer, I reckon I’m about a month away from my mental health going haywire with the mixture of toxic environment, culture and absolute weapons. Is just up and leaving as freeing as it seems? Probably have the money to be fine for a month long job search tbh but obviously can’t guarantee things will speed along that quickly.
  10. One step closer to Wraith trying to big league a Saudi and getting decapitated, at least
  11. Imagine spending your winters trying to learn Maths in a freezing cold, previously used train ffs What an environment
  12. Hardy Bucks is well worth a go. The web series is a bit more raw and improvised but some bits have had me howling
  13. I actually think they’re banned for the next two games but weren’t for England Maybe because England are quite good. It’s such a shame that that racist pack of cunts got to see their side take a walloping either way
  14. It’ll be less “crushing our dreams” and more “adding the cherry to the top of the shit sundae they’ve unleashed on us”
  15. I refuse to believe that Hamza is on a decent wedge at Leicester. Has he had a major contract increase since coming through the academy?
  16. We’ve sent two of the kids to Greenock Morton They must be world beaters
  17. Let the players down that he spent all of last season blaming and in one case, started on?
  18. He knew exactly what he was signing up for and they know exactly how he’ll respond to it; not at all, the lickspittle cunt
  19. I was at a beer festival and it’s fair to say I made the right choice
  20. Takes some effort to be in a band with Ginger Baker and still be the biggest cunt
  21. Aye, an entire argument smashed with one rebuttal. If I was in those press conferences, I wouldn’t be able to help myself.
  22. The Stones as musicians don’t seem technical geniuses on paper or anything but consider how many other bands have aped them and sounded shite, it makes you appreciate how they did it well. Obviously, there was the raft of great songs but the guitar interplay, playing what the songs needs rather than what you want to play, having an ear for hooks and an instinct when not to step over your band mate. All that sort of thing is the good musicianship you learn after you’ve learned the flashy shit. Something like Beggars Banquet sounds like a trashy blues band in a dive bar and sounds like it’s about to collapse on itself at any moment but nearly all of it is cooly performed and rehearsed. That takes some chops. Not to mention Keith Richards was off his tits on smack. They pumped out some shite as well, though
