And of course that's of every concern to Newcastle United fans isn't it? Truth is, if it is career-ending then he won't be, will he? His contract will be paid off! All the animosity towards one person is beyond obesession. Regardless of what u think of him personally, he's a good footballer who's had terrile luck with injuries.

Can't get my head around rejoicing about an ex-player's bad fortune tbh. We got a cracking amout of cash for him and he's no longer our concern. And anyone who doesn't have a scrap of sympathy for Dyer needs to have a word with themselves and stop being so obesessed.

Absolutely devastating... Brings back harrowing memories of Marc-Vivien Foe and Miklos Feher.... RIP

Haven't seen the highlights but from what I heard on 5-Live, Mido was rightfully booked for encitement. Regardless of what a minority of the crowd were or were not chanting, it doesn't give a professional footballer the right to do what Mido did so why the hell is she saying Mike Dean was pedantic for booking him? Many can empathise with why Cantona decked that Palace fall all those years back, didn't mean that what he did was right and he was deservedly handed a lengthy ban for his actions. Southgate should be keeping his trap shut as well - if he has a problem with what was going on in the stands, then he needs to speak with the club stewards and the police - NOT the fucking press.

Wario Smooth Moves is good, and well addictive! The Wii Sports games are just dangerous though. Was playing the baseball game the other day and I was pitching. Was stood too close to the person batting and took the wii remote full whack on my wrist....

Gets called 'the doofer' here too My Mam, god rest her soul, used to call it the 'urdy gurdy'!

And far too close in colour to the away kit. If they're going to make a 2nd alternative kit then surely they need to make sure they colours are as far away from the other two kits as possible. For the record, I don't think it's any coincidence that the shorts and socks of this kit would not look out of place alongside either the home or away shirt.

Sweeping generalisations again eh Stevie? Think you'll find this sort of thing is sadly becoming more common place all over the country. Manchester and London have had their fair share of it and it'll probably not be long before it happens in Newcastle too. What will you say then?

Or in the Fish's case.... let her rant on about how terrible her mate is for cheating on her boyfriend (and his flat-mate) before dropping a "fancy a shag?" into the convo.....

Train journey through outer space? And, wait, you're moving house? Where to? I'll need your new address so I can keep stalking you. We're only moving two doors up the road so it's exactly the same as it is now, only #6. Aye, prototype commercial space flights back in 91. Those were the days. That's you in 1991?? Fucking hell, I feel old!

My fatha plays golf with John Anderson and he reckons....

I didn't say he hadn't, I just said I certainly recall him playing for us in the second division and that was around 1990... -

I quite clearly remember him playing for us after we were relegated so he was here until at least 1990. Splitting hairs I know like.... T-Keith's got a point like, I couldn't recall all the players who played for us in the late 70s, sure I'd know of the well known ones, but the Anderson was hardly a headline maker was he? irish international as well though wasnt he? im no superfan like but i remember him playing in the same side as gazza etc. But then I am older than most in here so superold is more accurate! He was aye.... I remember him clearly and going on from what manc-mag was saying the other week, Ando was the indirect reason that Neil McDonald left to join Everton in 1988. Very committed player who you were glad was playing for you rather than against you. Did he score the first goal (the one where Quinny sat on Jim Leighton to stop him getting up) against Man Utd in the cup match in 1990?? I thought that was Kevin Scott, although I might be wrong. Actually it could well have been..... I don't remember who actually stuck it in the onion bag, what I do remember is Leighton pegging it after the ref, absolutely incensed and Mick Quinn just laughing in his face... -
I bet picking your nose is fun and games too.....

I've got the same pair Morph's wearing in my avatar and if the 5-a-side was anything to go by, they work a treat.... The colour dazzled Ritchie and I ran straight past him!

Used to play for the Toon. Is now on Radio Newcastle with Mick Lowes. Yup, a legend who i recall broke his arm and actually played with a cast on it. Wasn't afraid to lead with it when jumping at corners either -
Allardyce won the poll on here, but Sven ran him close (including a vote from me). I think the majority of people that preferred Allardyce over Sven were more concerned about the astronomical wages, the dodgy private life and the need for a strong character in the changing room following Roeder. As well as being more realistic about who Fat Fred could attract. Their records hardly need comparing, Sven is clearly a more accomplished, experienced manager. So you're expecting him to win stuff and us not to then? I don't know, all I do know is Sven HAS won stuff and Sam hasn't. I don't expect us to win anything. Expect fuck all and you'll never be disappointed (how else do you think i have managed to survive 25 years following Newcastle? )

Well it's hardly Jimbo-esque proportions is it? Looks like the river is well and truly dried up!

I'm not sure I'd go that far yet. They've had a good start, but a long way to go yet (not even Sven's luck can hold out for that long ). Love the way some people blinker their opinions of Sven on their disatisfaction of his role as England coach. His club record is awesome and it's no suprise to me that Citeh have started the season as they have. As is his international record imo. Oh I totally agree - i was talking about people's perceptions of his style of play rather than his record. He's one of the best managers out there, might not manage teams that play the most attractive football but he gets results. Had the rumours of him coming to SJP had any foundation, i'd have been more than happy.

6th - my god, i may have picked a decent team for once!! Shame that tit Ronaldo spat his dummy midweek like and when the hell is Tevez and Smith gonna start doing the business?

To be fair to Green for once, he has a point. Styles has lost the plot big time in this game and is dishing out the yellows like there's no tomorrow. And it was never a penalty...

Cudicini on loan?? It'd be a great move if it was true, but I can't see Mourinho allowing it...
