I accept that he does not sign them, and may be putting forward other, more expensive or older options, but surely he is also recommending the likes of Thauvin, Cabella, De Jong, etc, who while they may be well-credentialed overseas, do not appear to be able to handle the Premier League (or even Division 2, or wherever Sheffield Wednesday are now)

We need at least 2 replacements for him, but if that were the case, I would be willing to let him go. Even in the West Ham match, when we were 2-0 up in the 91st minute, he was trying to pick a fight, which is exactly why he missed 10 games through suspension.
