My Mrs is half southern and her uncle is a really snobby arty ant-northern twat. However, he has always said that Grey St is architecturally the greatest street he has ever seen. Seriously, that's amazing from him.

Sammy Johnson died while on a jog, massive heart attack I think.

Are you a mackem who wants to meet your latest false hope? Then get yourself to Eldon Square.

A penthouse apartment down the Quayside, the choice of where to live by the majority of the mackems squad.

A cathedral. You know, which classifies you as a proper city.

Have to say, that was what I was thinking when I saw that pic.

It was a stupid push and he should be punished. However, he went and apologised straight away to the lino and then publicly to the press. He actually did something that a lot of managers could learn from, he 100% admitted being at fault and even called himself a hypocrite having preached to his players about behaving and respect. The way the press are making it out however, he actually went into the ref's room afterwards to finish the lino off with a well placed headbut then went out to face the press wafting his wang about asking who wanted a piece of him. Or something.

Anyone else using this to scout for blart?

Can't see myself, the corner is a bad angle so it's cut off and pretty dark. Maybe they should have had one other side of the pitch as well?

Yeah, noticed Ladbrokes had been replaced by this BetButler stuff. It looked unmanned at half time which I've never seen before.

Being slightly worried about his attitude (we got him because he spat his dummy out and then getting bollocked off the French FA last month) doesn't mean I don't appreciate how class a footballer he is!
-
Just to play Devil's Advocate a bit here, but was anyone worried about the French FA disciplinary he got after the Euros? He obviously still has a bit of an attitude problem and it will be interesting to see how he reacts if he gets left out or the team go through a rough patch. Just a thought, I think the lad is a cracking player and hopefully we'll have no problems but I'd be lieing if it didn't worry me a little bit.

Still full back position that worries me (well, I'm not that worried, but you know what I mean). Santon I think has adapted really well but Simpson is still a bit so-so..well, I just think we could do better without breaking the bank. Plus the problem of cover.

Guthrie was alright, but I'm certainly not sad to see him go. If he proves himself in the PL by starting every week then fair dos, but I personally still think he's a solid Championship player.

It is hard work being a parent. There is no manual on it but you have to graft and bond. Problem is, I think a lot of young uns see it as a fad and then once the baby has stopped being cute and getting them attention they get bored and unarsed. That's a massive generalisation of course, I work with a 17 year old lass who's just had a bairn who is in a solid relationship and the both of them are taking it very seriously.

Good player Saha..10 years ago. -
He's fit to play as well, so if Tiote is knackered for Sat he might be able to slip straight in. Well, I assume he can, is he registered in time?

If he's not injured.. -
First week back from holiday and spent the week doing fuck all. Always the same, 2 weeks leading up to being on leave you work like a bastard then first week back you can't be arsed to do anything. I need a hammock.

Bang on for RVP to get injured early doors and be out for most of the season. Easiest £24m Arsenal have ever made. -
Julian Assange - What do you think of him?

Being a teenager of the 90's, I can't take this story seriously as I get that bouncy Sash tune in my head.. -
What he has got going for him is that he looks like he can put himself about physically, which is usually the jump that young uns struggle with.

I'm sure it was some hilarious sitcom like mixup.
