  1. Easy win for Starmer. Just compare the number of boat crossings between the policy going live and the election with the same period last year. It will likely be higher, so he can admonish the Tories for their failed policy and a colossal waste of taxpayers money
  2. I see the most expensive dog whistle in history has become law overnight. I'm sure fear is spreading through migrant camps in France as we speak...
  3. Alternatively, he tried to get a bloke who was doing his best to keep the peace, vilified online and potentially disciplined/sacked by posting a highly edited video
  4. Build issues aside, the Tesla has been the best car I've owned. 0-60 in 4s, 300ml range, TV you can watch Netflix on, Spotify integration etc.
  5. https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2024/apr/22/initial-story-about-openly-jewish-incident-not-full-picture-says-ex-senior-met-officer Turns out he was just being a dick
  6. It was one copper who was trying to keep the peace and inadvertently said something stupid. I've seen people calling for the chief of Met police to resign over this ffs. The bloke wasn't just crossing the road. He was stood in a yarmulke, flanked by a security guard in the middle of a Palestinian protest. And that article is a shit show btw. The first paragraph suggests left wing luvvies are marching in support of Hamas. Are they fuck. They're marching in support of 45k dead Palestinians.
  7. My Tesla is 3.5 years old and is dropping to bits. Literally has paint faking off it. Glad it's on lease and I didn't drop £45k on it!
  8. Aye, but we are relying on Farley conceding 2 in the 2nd half
  9. On a side note, has there ever been a shitter set off 3pm kick offs in the PL?
  10. Blyth's takeover by "Winners Worldwide" was finalised yesterday. Unless we better Farsley's result today we will be relegated by 5pm. You couldn't write it 🤦🏻‍♂️
  11. Saltwell Park has nowt to do with it. I'm just saying it's better looked after and nicer to visit than Leazes Park. I agree with Alex. Promise to invest and upgrade the remaining 75% of Leazes Park if we can pinch 25%. Still doesnt solve the issue of where we play for 2 seasons during the build though. Gateshead stadium is miles off meeting PL criteria. SOS is a no go. We could groundshare with Boro but it holds 18k less than SJP so not sure how you decide which fans miss out. The other option is to build a whole new stadium at the back end of the park and then incorporate the old SJP footprint into a new Leazes Park. Would be a nicer view for Leazes Terrace!
  12. Leazes Park is a shit hole anyway. Not befitting of a major city centre park and is normally full of charvers and tramps. Saltwell Park is nicer imo
  13. Option B is an optical illusion and would eat up half the pitch Option C is what Spurs did, but they had to move to Wembley for 2 seasons to finish the ground off. We don't have that option If we could squeeze 11,000 extra seats into option A it would give us the 2nd largest stadium in the league 😊
  14. Princess Diana went back to the future when she hit 88mph or some shit
  15. Do any pubs in town show non televised matches on dodgy boxes these days? Or have the all been shut down?
  16. We went to Xcaret theme park. Prices were fucking mental but the swimming in the cenotes was class
  17. Aye, City will fee like they've made a mistake there. Especially with KDB getting on now
  18. Wilson would have managed it last season if he wasn't made of glass
  19. I'd snap your hand off for 6th and a run at the Europa League. 55 years since we last won it...
  20. I've always had a soft spot for Messi. Won it all, one of the most famous people on the planet, but seems to be happy at home with his wife and kids rather than shagging granny's or crashing Bugatti's in his spare time
  21. Given Liverpool are 3-0 down after the first leg I think we can file this one under "never gonna happen"
