When the toon beat West Ham last week I was that drunk I promised wor lass I wouldn't have a drink for 33 days. I'm at day 7 now and I feel more hungover and tired than I did when I was bad with the beer. She reckons its all the shite coming out of my system, aye pet 7 days later! Anyway these Poles, I don't mind them as economic refugees, they have a shop inside near where Idols is underneath the Swallow Hotel, its crawling with cheap Polish beer. They have this one which is the most popular in Poland, Zywiec lager. What a drink. The only problem with it is its 5.6% and trust me it does make a difference, lovely hoppy flavour though.

I remember going to The Globe a few years ago when it had just been reopened by polish guys . They had 2 bottled Polish beers one called Lech the other called Strong. Not sure what they were like as i dont drink alcohol now. But i do remember back in the day The Broken Doll used to sell Slalom D lager which was quiet potent.

Just got a free bottle of Fleurie for finding/returning someone's laptop bag. I say returning, they came to mine and dropped the wine off.

Good deeds pay off. Hic.

I had six 'craft ales' last night and I'm hanging like fuck. First drink in weeks like but they were only little bottles, some 330ml cans .

Nice like (oh and free)

Have any of you non-alcoholic beer drinkers tried Nanny State by Brewdog? 0.5%. I'm assuming it'll be decent.

Not yet, just spotted it for the first time the other day but didn't have time to get one. Definitely going to try it though.

I'm having a burger, sweet potato fries and a cold bottle of Dead Pony Club pale ale. What a bloke.

Get that twiddling thing and rotate the sweet potato through it....Big curly bits come out and you can oven them.

I do that with courgette, sling it over a passata and you can convince yourself you're not eating a ladies meal.
