ohhh_yeah 2971
"Better to play 25mins in a good team than 90 in a struggling one" what an odious cunt "Michael Owen has been identified as a candidate to play for Shabab next season and we are in negotiations with his management team." "The player's agent is in Dubai to close the deal." "We are in talks with the player and his agent, but no agreement has yet been reached between the parties." "Things should become clear soon." Ayatollah Hermione 13957
A final reminder, if one was needed, that he's been completely finished for years and is a money grabbing arsehole.

Monroe Transfer 0
Can't be true tbh, nowhere near his stables. He'll be at Stoke next season for the above reason.
dbsweeney 0
If his wife supposedly burst into tears when he signed for us, how's she gonna react when he announces they're all leaving for Dubai?
ewerk 30862
They already have a house in Dubai. And a convenient injury around the end of October would set him up nicely for the winter racing season over there.

Gemmill 45628
Absolutely ridiculous how early he basically just gave up on his career. Even more ridiculous how much money he's continued to make since giving up on it.
Kitman 2207
I think you'll find FC Kebab is a top club with top players. According to Owen.
Sonatine 11488
Al Shabab vice-president Khalid Bu Humaid told Gulf News:"There have been some talks and his agent is coming to Shabab Club tonight but there is nothing to confirm with regard to him signing or not. "This is a general talk with no obligations. When someone calls us we listen to what they have to say and see what they have to offer. "But this part of the world is not the market for Michael Owen anymore. "Michael Owen is on the downhill right now. He's not one of our options. He's 32 and he only played a handful of matches last season. "We'll listen to what his agent has to say and report that back to the coach (Marcos Paqueta), who is currently in Brazil." Sounds more like his agent hawking him around than any firm interest from Shabba FC.

wykikitoon 20505
I would be very suprised to see him in a football shirt playing competative again. He isnt a pull for shirt sales any more because he doesnt get enough game time. So why else gamble on him, even at a pay as you play contract. He takes up too much medical staff time and a place on the bench when fit.
