Why don't you just ask for our D.O.B.

Anyway, if I was playing, and I must stress that I am not, mine would have been the same scorer as our second goal at Old Trafford last week. Figure that one out boffins.

I think that means you're a maximum of 5 years old?

You may need to think a little more obtusely than that.

I haven't read the referenced article or the thread, but what amuses me is that it has already generated a 21 page thread after less than 2 hours.

George Burley OG for Ipswich in 3-0 home win, first actual player was Chris Waddle

That's the first one mentioned I was at.

Mine was Jim Iley in an Easter Monday 2-1 defeat at Leeds.

(Scanning down I was at Holden's QPR game - the infamous Peter Withe dog game).

  only the mackems can whip themselves up in to such a frenzy about something that's never gonna happen!

on a side note they have got a canny thread going on there about who scored the first goal for them after they were born. have never checked that out for meself and newcastle.

turns out it was jimmy fell with a 31st minute penalty in a 4-4 draw away to cardiff city in the opening game of the 62/63 season in the old 2nd division.

to my eternal shame I'd never heard of the lad.  :(

if you dont know yours, check it out here in .coms archives....

On a related theme, who was the first player you saw score for NUFC (obviously I mean at the match and not on telly ) .

Or have we had that one already?

think it was Micky Burns against Man City in the 1975 FA Cup 3rd round.
We won 2-0, Geoff Nulty got the winner.

I was 6, and I could just see over the top of the little pitchside trench, stood in the West Stand not far from the tunnel.
