The attitude is bizarre like. They seem to exist in this alternate reality where they're simultaneously not good enough to get out of the Championship AND good enough to finish mid table in the Premier League. And the complete absence of logic just doesn't even occur to them.

 

It's like watching Interstellar whilst standing next to some Spanish bins.

 I love their new banter that the whole CL qualification thing, which was never going to happen a few weeks back, is only happening because we’re flukey. We’re headed for a similar points tally that top 4 always requires, and they’ll list who has been “horrendous” as if there’s not always some of the “big 6” having seasons like this every fucking season . Can’t wait until we fluke a league title win.

it's pretty fair too say our good fortune knows no bounds. we've been extremely lucky really that we're not in the bottom 3, or indeed that we still have the same manager.
