Nah, no chance. Too many teams in the mix and Hodgson will very quickly get their defence in shape, rely on Zaha, Eze to score the goals in 1-0 wins.

I would assume that's their plan, his deal is only to the end of the season. It's not exciting but probably the safest appointment to keep them up. They've a winnable run of games coming up.

Their defence isn't really the issue, scoring goals is. Hodgson won't fix that.
