Capitalism. Nothing unexpected, but interesting all the same. Nicely frames democracy as a way of life, not just politics.

Watched it last night. Thought it was brilliant in parts.

Edge of Darkness

Mel Gibson / Ray Winstone

Had all the ingredients to be a classic but just didn't come off. If anything they over complicated it.

Starts very well, loses it's way, predictable ending.

Shame. 6/10

Sort of half watching Lady Vengence. The main character is pretty damned hot. From what little I have seen, I bet this was the main film Tarantino ripped off with the Kill Bill films.

Four Lions

Top class. The subtitled extravagant swearing was an inspired touch.

Thanks for the recommendation I saw it on Thursday, an excellent film.

It would have been if Kill Bill hadn't come out 2 years earlier.

Both Kill Bill and Lady Vengeance owe more to Lady Snowblood.

In Bruges.

Canny, didn't expect to like it but I quite enjoyed it.

That's exactly how I felt about it, I just love that movie.

Paranormal Activity.

Considering its budget, its was pretty good. Nowhere near what the hype would have you believe. But for its simple plot and setting, I thought they achieved a good feel to it without going too OTT. Worth a watch, it is what it is.
