Man United effectively 3 points behind us on equal games played now.

Aye. We can afford to draw against Arsenal and still be ahead of them in the table next week

Excellent result for us that, Brighton are a quality side but up front just haven't got enough quality to merit the rest of their outstanding play. They dominated us and couldn't score, they got a lucky pen at the death tonight to win, lucky as in it was a needless thing to do by Shaw, I think we'll have a tough game when they come up here but if they play in the final third like that we should get a draw at worst. As for Man U, keep our heads and we should be looking to finish ahead of them. Tough game on Sunday then kick on from there. :good:

Brighton have managed to sell Trossard, Bissouma, Ben White, Dan Burn and Cucurella for £200mil, get £22mil for Potter, and somehow end up a better team.

They also bought:

Mitoma for £3m

Caicedo for £5m

Macallister for £7mil

Not sure how much involvement Dan Ashworth had in all of those, but that's an insane track record!

Ben White came through the academy but Ashworth was technical director for the signing of all of them apart from Burn.

Its a hell of a track record

And yet for 15 years we had Lee Charnley and Mike Ashley in charge of scouting and acquiring new players. A policy so short sighted it beggars belief

The GREAT Man United, coached by the Dutch Genius have picked up only 1 point away from home against teams in the current top 9 positions.

Weak as piss.

And that was at Spurs so shouldn't count.

He was asked the question at the post match press conference. He didn't answer it though and instead said well we won 4 and drew 1 of the last 5.

Last night's loss for them now makes a draw against arsenal not the worst result now they've fucked their game in hand, puts us effectively three ahead of them now with the same games played, obviously we don't want to be doing anything silly like lose at home before the end of the end of the season.

What a game this has been btw. Don't fancy our chances against Brighton if they play like this! They've got some cracking players id never heard of before this season

Brighton still have to play you, us and arsenal. wouldn't put it past them to win all 3 of those but lose to southampton.

You wouldn't? I would. No way are they beating the top 3 sides. They still have an issue putting the ball int he back of the net and Newcastle and Man City currently aren't finding that a tremendous challenge. Arsenal... who knows, they can't be thinking about shooting practise because they're too busy sitting by a rainy window listening to the Dawson's Creek soundtrack.

Oh, and Southampton are terrible.

I really, really want us to beat Arsenal but a draw certainly isn't a disaster (for us, it is to them if they have any lingering hopes).

We have Leeds(h),Everton(a),Chelsea(h),Brighton(a),Brentford(a), given our superior goal difference we have 4 points to play with so i hope we don't go into the last 2 games needing 2 wins.

I hope Isaak plays for you, especially if gabriel is missing from their defense as they're struggling without saliba. that defense is shaky as hell right now.
