Quiet all over it seems. Last week of the month is often quiet though, all the reports coming afterwards.

Yesterday we had a colleague come in after a work-do, absolutely shitfaced... was kind of entertaining for a while.

Amputations aren't that bad. Debridement of necrotising fasciitis (removal of dead, rotting, infected skin, fat and muscle), where the smell hits you as you enter the theatre complex, 20 feet from the patient, is minging. As is the smell of malaena (bleeding from the stomach that has trickled down through the bowels, half digested and mixed in with the shit).

Faecal vomiting is pretty smelly too.

And haddaway with your malaena talk. You never have to clean it up!

Haha, no I don't. We had a young lad the other night for an OGD for bleeding DUs, he properly shat himself afterwards. The female ODPs hid in the anaesthetic room and made the male nurses clear it up "it's a boy problem!".

Just checked, and currently with personal allowance you need to earn £42475 top qualify for the higher rate. Next year the upper threshold is coming down but personal all allowance is going up, meaning earning £41456 will put you on the higher rate.
